Many businesses have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including those in the catering, hotel, and tourism industries. As a result, in addition to posing a threat to public health, COVID-19 has caused economic losses. VUCA must be resilient enough to survive in the current pandemic situation. This study focused on four four-star hotels in Makassar, namely Hotel Gammara, Hotel Citadines, Hotel Mercure, and Hotel Harper Perintis. Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect the data. 138 out of 187 people filled in the questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study have implications for researchers, hoteliers, and policymakers, particularly in terms of increasing competitiveness through entrepreneurship development. The purpose of this research is to find out the right tourism development strategy to be implemented in Popo village as a coastal tourism village in Takalar Regency. The method of this research is descriptive research. The instruments in this study include; Observation of Data Documentation, Interview and Questionnaire. The result of the research shows that the development of tourist villages requires support from various parties so that they can become income for the community in the tourist village. In the development of tourist villages, there are various factors including driving factors and inhibiting factors. The driving factor of the tourist village being the driving force for the promotion of the tourist village will be a factor inhibiting the development of the tourist village so that it can be accepted and managed so that it can be entered as a tourism partner village.

This study aims to describe whether or not there is a relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension ability in class IX students of SMP Kemala Bayangkari Makassar. This study is a descriptive study using correlational analysis methods. The population in this study was 200 students and the sample was 40 students. In this study data was collected from two sources, namely the questionnaire value from the results of the reading habit questionnaire test and the value of reading comprehension ability from the results of the comprehension reading ability test. Data obtained in the form of primary data using a quantitative descriptive approach with an objective process and analyzing data. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that the relationship between reading habits and reading comprehension ability of class IX students at SMP Kemala Bayangkari Makassar has a positive correlation. In this study, it is hoped that the readers and writers themselves will be able to further improve their reading skills.

Sistem pengadaan barang operasional Hotel Bukit Kenari di Parepare merupakan fokus dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1). Menganalisa sistem pengadaan barang operasional pada Hotel Bukit Kenari di Parepare. 2). Menjelaskan prosedur administrasi pengadaan barang operasional pada Hotel Bukit Kenari di Parepare. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengadaan barang operasional pada Hotel Bukit Kenari di Parepare menggunakan beberapa sistem antara lain dengan menggunakan Sistem Kontrak untuk beberapa barang yang berjenis minuman, Sistem Harian untuk barang yang dibutuhkan secara reguler, terutama di bagian dapur, dan sistem pengadaan bulanan yang diadakan dengan pembelian secara kontan. Kemudian prosedur administrasi untuk pengadaan barang operasional di Hotel Bukit Kenari Di Parepare meliputi : pengisian formulir request, kemudian ditandatangani oleh kepala bagian (head office), selanjutnya ditandatangani oleh operational manager dan terakhir formulir tersebut diserahkan kepada bagian pengadaan sebagai dasar untuk membelik barang yang dibutuhkan oleh user.
