Abstract. Assessment is one of the most important things in studying. In this digital era, there are a lot of systems that have developed to handle assessment automatically. One of the system assessments that were developed by researcher is automatic scoring for essay. There are two types of essay; long and short answer essays. This paper is focused on the development of automatic short answer scoring. Some automatic scoring systems used on long answer have shown optimal results in giving a score on the students answer. Automatic long answer systems use the information retrieval method to measure similarity between students answer and references answer. Automatic short answer scoring does not give the best result yet. Short answer has a limited word in each answer. Each answer consists of one phrase to three sentences. Assessment of the short description that has limited number of words requires special handling, especially in the weighting process. With the limitations of the process of weighting the word, it cannot be done with frequency model, because the words occurrence is very rare. This study tries to compare several methods that apply the overlapping methods to determine the degree of similarity between the references answer and students answer. From the research result shows that the method Cosine Coefficient has better results than the Dice and Jaccard Coefficient methods.
Overloaded condition in the product porter like hand pallet, hand stacker, forclift, and etc, can causes damage and terrible accident in the machine operator. This research aim to build a prototype of porter machine that can prevent overloaded condition through the reading of load cell and photo diode sensor to guide the line follower direction. Research and development methods are used with the systematic writing are background of study and problems, prototype design and validation, testing, taking and analysis of the data. Output of the research is a prototype of porter machine using load cell sensor based on line follower robot. The Result of the load cell reading is compared to SF-400 weigher, and found the difference amount 0.117%. The load testing data of automatic moving trigger is 1 gram until 2999 gram. The Overload condition warning is active while the load is more than 3000 gram. The data reading of the photo diode on the black line is running succesfully, however on the white line with orange color is found some error.Abstrak-Beban angkut berlebih pada alat pegangkut barang seperti hand pallet, hand stacker, forklift, dan produk lainya dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan dan kecelakaan operator mesin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan prototype mesin pengantar barang yang mampu mencegah mesin beroperasi dengan beban berlebih dengan mengetahui hasil pembacaan load cell dan sensor foto dioda untuk pemandu arah line follower. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan untuk penelitian ini dengan tahapan pengembangan potensi dan perumusan masalah, perencanaan desain alat, validasi desain, uji coba alat, pengambilan data dan analisis data penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa prototype mesin pengantar barang menggunakan load cell berbasis robot line follower, dengan hasil uji pembacaan load cell terhadap timbangan pembanding SF-400 didapatkan perbedaan 0,117%. Data uji beban picu gerak otomatis prototype mampu dipicu beban terkecil 1 gram sampai 2999 gram. Peringatan over load terjadi saat beban melebihi 3000 gram. Data pembacaan foto dioda pada uji coba garis warna putih terdapat error pada variasi warna dasar oranye cerah sedangkan pada garis warna hitam tidak terjadi error. <p>Kartu bisnis masih sering digunakan pada saat ini, namun ada beberapa kekurangan yang membuatnya terasa tertinggal dan akhirnya akan tergantikan. Kartu bisnis memiliki keterbatasan dalam menampilkan informasi dan terkesan monoton sehingga tidak menarik. Teknologi Augmented Reality dapat membuat kartu bisnis konvensional menjadi kartu bisnis digital (Virtual Business Card). Virtual Business Card dapat menampilkan banyak informasi yang sebelumnya tidak dapat ditampilkan pada kartu bisnis konvensional, dan lebih interaktif dalam menampilkan informasi sehingga dapat menarik minat pengguna. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi Virtual Business Card adalah Agile Development. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini adalah Planning, Design, Coding, dan Testing. Pada pengujian aplikasi ini, dilakukan dengan pengujian alpha berupa functional testing (uji black box) dan pengujian beta berupa usability testing (uji ahli media dan uji pengguna aplikasi). Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi Virtual Business Card yang berisi data informasi digital yang dapat digunakan untuk keperluan pribadi. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, aplikasi dapat dikategorikan “Sangat Baik” sehingga aplikasi dapat dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai informasi digital pribadi. Berikut ini hasil dari masing-masing pengujian. Hasil pengujian alpha berupa functional testing, yaitu black box mendapatkan persentase 100%. Hasil pengujian beta berupa usability testing, yaitu uji ahli media mendapatkan persentase 89,88% dan uji pengguna mendapatkan persentase 84%.</p><p> </p><p class="Judul2"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p class="Judul2"><em>Business cards are still often used today, but some functions can still be optimized to cover the shortcomings of business cards, so they are not left behind and replaced. Business cards have limitations in displaying information and are not interactive, making them less attractive to use. Augmented Reality (AR) technology can make conventional business cards into digital business cards (Virtual Business Cards). Virtual Business Cards can display much information that previously could not be displayed on conventional business cards and is more interactive in displaying information so that it can attract the user's interest. The development method used in making Virtual Business Card applications is the Extreme Programming type of Agile Development. The steps of this research are Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing. In testing this application, alpha testing is done in the form of functional testing (black box test) and beta testing in the form of usability testing (media expert test and application user test). This research resulted in a Virtual Business Card application that contains digital information data that can be used for personal use. From the results of tests conducted, the application can be categorized as "Very Good" so that the application can be declared eligible for use as personal digital information. The following are the results of each test. Alpha test results in the form of functional testing, namely, the black box test get a percentage of 100%. The results of beta testing are in the form of usability testing, i.e., media expert tests get a percentage of 89.88%, and user tests get a percentage of 84%</em><em>.</em></p>
Lestari merupakan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan multi fitur dan mobile. Pengembangan aplikasi bertujuan untuk memberikan materi tumbuhan secara tulisan dan gambar serta menampilkan model 3D (tiga dimensi) sebagai alat peraga dalam menampilkan jaringan tumbuhan yang tidak dapat dilihat langsung tanpa adanya alat bantu. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan menggunakan metode prototype. Pengujian dilakukan dalam memindai pola gambar, dimana Augmented reality terbatas dalam mengidentifikasi gambar pada penggunaan kertas, cahaya, dan jarak. Fungsionalitas tombol pada aplikasi diuji menggunakan metode black box yang mana fungsi telah berjalan baik, dinilai layak digunakan pada android.
