To obtain the mixed weak object signal against the super power signal (jamming) is still an challenging task in modern communication systems. In this paper, a novel framework is designed for weak object signal blind separation against the strong interference signal. To extract the strong interference signal, firstly, we separate the mixed signals with the optimized FastICA algorithm, then, an improved Interference Cancellation algorithm is proposed as reference signal based on the separated strong signal. Next, we separate the weak mixed signals by the improved FastICA algorithm again. Finally, we discuss the performance of the proposed method and verify the novel method based on several simulations. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.
As the number of communication devices rapidly grows, limited radio resources hardly accommodate the every-increasing tele-traffic. As a remedy, spatial modulation (SM) is capable of modulating additional information onto the index of transmit or receive antennas, which results in substantial improvement of spectrum efficiency. Moreover, radio frequency (RF) signal based simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) has attracted tremendous research interest, in order to relieve the energy-thirst of massively deployed low-power communication devices. In this paper, a receive spatial modulation (RSM) aided SWIPT system with finite alphabets is studied, in which three different transmission schemes are proposed, namely the general scheme, the superimposed scheme and the distinct scheme. Furthermore, the performance of these transmission schemes in the RSM aided SWIPT system is theoretically analysed. The energy harvested by the receiver is then maximised by jointly optimising the transmit power of the information signal and the covariance matrix of the energy signal as well as the power splitting ratio, while satisfying the quality of service of the wireless information transfer. At last, simulation results validate our theoretical analysis, while they also demonstrate that the distinct scheme has the best SWIPT performance among these three transmission schemes.
In Passive Radar System, obtaining the mixed weak object signal against the super power signal (jamming) is still a challenging task. In this paper, a novel framework based on Passive Radar System is designed for weak object signal separation. Firstly, we propose an Interference Cancellation algorithm (IC-algorithm) to extract the mixed weak object signals from the strong jamming. Then, an improved FastICA algorithm withK-means cluster is designed to separate each weak signal from the mixed weak object signals. At last, we discuss the performance of the proposed method and verify the novel method based on several simulations. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
