Religious issues that are no longer relevant to modern living are represented in The Wonder (2022) film by Sebastián Lelio. This research aims to unravel the Religious Dogma in the film by focusing on examining the religious situation of Irish society in the nineteenth century. Tracing the religious life of the Irish community in the nineteenth century, where the majority adhered to Roman Catholicism, this research uses the sociology of literature method. In more detail, this research applies Max Weber's theory of the sociology of religion approach. The Wonder film entirely is the research data, but specifically, the writer takes the socio-religious context, screenshots from several scenes, and film dialogues as the secondary data. So it can be said that data collection in this research used documentation and literature study techniques. Analysis of the sociology of religion in The Wonder (2022) film by Sebastián Lelio is still rare to find, so this research is essential so that it can add to criticism resources of the sociology of literature. Aside from that, the results of this research are that the modernization and logicalization of religion can occur along with times of development and the relevance of public interest.

The aim of this research was to compare two movies that contain similar perceptions of psychological impact on war, disappointment and regret, from Dunkirk and 1917 movies. Disappointment and regretting arise between British soldiers in movies that were directed by Christopher Nolan and Sam Mendes, which coincidentally both of these films raised the setting in World War I and II. Therefore, this research uses literary criticism and comparative literature methods in examining Dunkirk (2017) and 1917 (2019), to produce both similarities and differences in the psychological and emotional impact on British soldiers. In addition, this research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach using Peirce’s sign semiotic analysis. The result of this research is that readers will be able to recognize the differences between the two movies from literary perspective and psychological review from the failures of war in Dunkirk (2017) and 1917 (2019). These two films ultimately interpret disappointment in almost the same way and regret in the form of the loss of a loved one. The aim of this research is to describe alongside to analyze the meaning behind the diction of position dismissal in Tempo.co news headlines by studying euphemism and dysphemism. Judging from the language axiology study approach, the dictions that contain euphemisms and dysphemism is analyzed for their meaning and purpose. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive technique, to analyze the data and the quality of meaning. Then the lexical semantic method is also needed to interpret each meaning of the dictions that will be presented. The research data was collected through the technique of documenting the online news headlines of Tempo.co media. The results of this research, can describe the various types of euphemisms and dysphemism in the diction of position dismissal used by the mainstream media, by describing their meaning and purpose. The benefits of this research will be appropriate for language learners or researchers, and especially for media news readers, reporters, and editors to determine suitable framing for news headlines.

The aim of this research is to elaborate Rumi's metaphorical disclosure in one of his works, entitled Fihi Ma Fihi. The complexity of diction in his literary work can characterize as imagery, specifically as metaphor. Jalal Al-Din Rumi was distinguished by his works containing exquisite language, the unlikeness of his figurative language and imagery, placing him as Persian Poet Top Seller in America in 1997. Therefore, this research utilize the theoretical criticism method in elaborating language and disclosure of Rumi's dialectics in Fihi Ma Fihi. As supporting to approach the analysis, this research also requires library technical and comparative literature methods. The results of this research managed to describe several metaphors that Rumi used as a religious disclosure based on his lectures. Hence, the advantage of this research will be useful for literary devotee in understanding and studying Rumi's writing tactics in influencing the world society for over centuries. This research is also expected to be a basis for further analysis of electing language in literary works production.
