The article presents the results of psychological changes that have occurred in patients with alcoholism as a result of psychocorrectional interventions, their impact on the level of emotional tension and readaptation of patients. The analysis of indicators according to the method of research of the actual condition of the patient is carried out. An analysis of indicators of the level of readaptation of patients (duration of remissions compared to previous treatments; return to work or study; the emergence of a new microsocial environment with people who do not abuse alcohol; improving family relationships). The characteristics of personal forms of response of patients to alcoholism before and after psychocorrectional interventions are given.
The article reveals some psychological aspects of intellectual disorders of patients with alcoholism, carried out on the basis of their own empirical research when comparing the research of other scientists. The data of features of memorization and retention in memory of the information are presented. The characteristic of mental working capacity of patients with alcoholism at different stages of the disease is carried out. The paper presents the results of an empirical study of the features of active attention and the patient's ability to quickly change the mode of activity, as well as to implement complex sensorimotor reactions.
The paper presents an attempt to carry out a psychological analysis of methods and areas of psychotherapeutic care for patients with alcoholism. The effectiveness of indirect stress psychotherapy, gestalt psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, family therapy is proved. The content of complex psychotherapeutic methods of treatment of patients with alcoholism in the waking state with the use of suggestive training is analyzed. The author of the article made an attempt to analyze one of the well-known methods of psychotherapy - psychosynthesis in working with patients with alcoholism. The principles and system of using the methods of rational psychotherapy in the correction of neurosis-like disorders, which are often observed in alcohol dependence, are described. The article proves a positive role in the treatment of addiction of other psychotherapeutic methods: positive, habitual and methods of psychological correction.
