We have found that expanded-ring NHC gold(i) complexes efficiently and regioselectively catalyze the hydration of alkylarylacetylenes in an anti-Markovnikov fashion due to steric repulsion build-up in the transition state, giving benzylalkyl ketones.
An efficient one‐pot methodology for the preparation of 5‐amino‐1,2,3‐triazole derivatives based on the combination of dipolar azide−nitrile cycloaddition with Dimroth rearrangement under solvent‐free conditions has been developed.
Novel α-CF3-substituted E-dehydroornithine derivatives have been synthesized via the Cu(i)-catalyzed hydroamination of α-CF3-α-allenyl-α-aminocarboxylates/phosphonates with different amines.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
