This study aims at improving student learning achievement using flip chart medium design based on cooperative learning method. To prove this goal, this study is focused on (1) knowing the effectiveness of learning media (flip chart) applied to thematic subjects for grade 2 elementary schools in Rejotangan District on student learning outcomes; (2) finding out whether there is an influence of the use of flip chart learning medium on the thematic subjects learning outcomes of grade 2 elementary school students in Rejotangan Districts. The population of this study was 12 elementary school institutions in Rejotangan, Tulungagung subdistrict, by setting 4 schools as samples which were divided into 2 schools as experimental classes (flip chart learning design) and 2 schools as control classes (conventional learning). The sample selection is done using a simple random sampling technique and the data analysis techniques carried out descriptively and inferentially. The results of this study indicate that flip chart learning medium based on cooperative learning method can be said to be quite effective in improving student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by using the N-Gain Score test with a significance level of 62%, while conventional media is not effectively applied to thematic subjects with a percentage of 8%. Furthermore, Mann Whitney test results show that the significance score is 0.00. Therefore, it can be seen that there is a positive influence on the use of flip chart learning medium on learning outcomes in thematic subject of grade 2 elementary school in Tulungagung subdistrict. The results recommend that using cooperative learning with flip chart as a medium is very effective in improving student learning outcomes on thematic subjects of elementary schools lower graders.
Character education is a grand issue which has been endeavored in various ways through education, so it is truly realized for the noble ideals of the Indonesian people. But what is happening right now in our education is the moral degradation of the children national character, so education has the task at the forefront to overcome this. Various methods have been conceived by experts and implemented one by one by the individual education, one of the latest methods and considered as an effective method by various education experts is through multiple intelligences approach. However, there are not many education implementers understand the concept, one of the institutions that dared to start implementing the concept is Markaz Arabiyah Pare Kediri, so researcher formulates a problem formulation of how the concept of learning based on multiple intelligences in Markaz Arabiyah and how the character education is implemented through the concept of learning. Markaz Arabiyah is the only institution in Pare Kediri that applies the theory of multiple intelligences starting from the process of accepting participants to the learning process, then from that process can also implement character education at the institution.
The amil zakat agency is a zakat management institution whose job is to receive and distribute zakat, infaq, and alms to people in need. In several sub-districts in Blitar Regency, the zakat, infaq, and alms management systems, in this case financial recording, financial reporting, and all matters relating to the entry and exit of money are still carried out using a paper-based recording system. Storing data in the form of reports printed on paper is considered insecure, because it could be that the accumulation of reports from year to year will cause the data to become obsolete and even disappear. This study proposes a financial management information system as a financial management medium. The purpose of this research is to develop an Android-based financial management information system as an alternative financial management medium for LAZISNU managers and to determine product feasibility. The research and development methodology used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). This methodology covers all matters related to development to produce quality software. Based on the trials, the results obtained were 82.5% from software experts, 90.5% from material experts, and 86.5% from user field tests. Based on these results, an Android-based financial management information system is feasible to use as a financial management medium with an average validation value of 86.5%.
Along with the times, many students, especially in universities, have no character as students. Politeness, manners, and morals have begun to be underestimated. So, it is important to apply multicultural education in university as an alternative and solution to make students with the character through multicultural values. The research method used in this study is a descriptive analysis by collecting various data and sources, then analyzing and systematically describing the urgency of multicultural education in character development in the era of society 5.0 at universities. The study's results found that students' character in university began to decline. Multicultural cultural values have been abandoned. Many students have ignored etiquette, manners, and behavior, especially lecturers as teachers or educators. So, through multicultural education, it is expected to contribute in terms of character building. It is implemented by providing good examples such as the habituation of respect for others, mutual respect, and advice if there is bad behavior.
The curriculum is the most important element in the educational process. The curriculum is constantly changing in order to find the perfect formula to improve the quality of education. The change is not only caused by the development of science and technology, but social aspects or even a disaster can also be the factors for changing curriculum. Such as non-natural disasters, which have attacked Indonesia since March 2020, namely the COVID-19 Pandemic. The pandemic demands that education managers in each institution to innovate in compiling a curriculum that can be implemented effectively and efficiently. Such as the child-friendly curriculum implemented in MI Barokah At-Tahdzib. The study aims to explain the implementation of the child-friendly curriculum at MI Barokah At-Tahdzib during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The method used is a qualitative method with interactive model data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the child-friendly curriculum is implemented by 1) implementing offline learning while still paying attention to health protocols 2) Creating study groups consisting of a maximum of 12 children to reduce social and physical distance with a learning duration of 1.5-2 hours 3) Assessment Learning cognitive and psychomotor aspects carried out in a network via Whatsapp and google form, the cost of sending affective aspects is carried out by observation techniques when face-to-face group learning
