Poverty on the country became a classic phenomenon that has not been resolved properly. The poverty of woman in the country veranda district Jagoibabang Bengkayang. Plantation in women and the double burden of women, the issue of trafficking in women and the exploitation of women can not be separated from women’s lives on the porch country. this research uses qualitative method, using indepth interview and data collecting technique to some splint artisans in Jagoi Village. This research describes the socio-economics dynamic of artisans in Jagoi Babang spilnt as mean to preserve the local culture that exists. There are two interesting things from this splint handicraft. First, this craft is does by ethnic Dayak and Malay. Second, most of these artisans are women. That is, solints have the opportunity as a medium of bonding relations between etnics group and at the same time as an effort to strengthen the capacity of women to preserve local wisdom and improve their family welfare. Interestingly, more dayak and Malay woman are move from spar production sector than men who are more involved in the trade sector of splint at regional, national to foreign levels. Third, this study also to explain the prepared, provlems and challenges of women handicraftsmen in facing the MEA. Therefore, this research is a descriptive framework to contribute the policy of business incubator program for female artisans toget gender equity to be strived in improving family welfare marked by increasing knowledge and awareness of the importance of business incubator in face of MEA.
The discourse and practices of corporate social responsibility continues to increase. Business entities are no longer only required to carry out corporate social responsibility activities but are urged to measure the impact of various CSR programs that have been carried out. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a study of the socio-economic impact on the company's CSR programs. This research was conducted in Yogyakarta, precisely the Kampungku Sehat: Kompak Maju’s program. The program is one of the CSR programs of PT Pertamina (Persero) DPPU Adisutjipto. This study used quantitative methods (surveys) and interviewed thirteen respondents. The results of the study concluded that the Kampungku Sehat: Kompak Maju’s program has “good” level and feasibility with an index value of 2.97 and a value conversion of 74.21%. This indicates that the program is successful with minor improvements or adjustment and allows it to be continued and disseminated as a best practice for other business entities. Diskursus dan praktik corporate social responsibility (CSR) terus mengalami peningkatan. Perusahaan tidak lagi hanya dituntut untuk melakukan aktivitas tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan saja, melainkan didesak untuk melakukan pengukuran dampak terhadap berbagai program CSR yang telah dilakukan. Oleh karena demikian peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan kajian dampak sosial ekonomi terhadap program-program CSR perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Yogyakarta, tepatnya program Kampungku Sehat: Kompak Maju. Program tersebut merupakan salah satu program CSR PT Pertamina (Persero) DPPU Adisutjipto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif (suvei), dan mewawancarai tiga belas responden yang merupakan seluruh penerima manfaat program. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa program pemberdayaan Kampungku Sehat: Kompak Maju memiliki feasibilitas yang baik dengan nilai indeks 2.97 dan konversi nilai 74.21%. Hal tersebut menandakan bahwa program berhasil dengan sedikit perbaikan dan memungkinkan untuk dilanjutkan serta disebarluaskan sebagai sebuah best practices permberdayaan berbasis komunitas.
Kasus prostitusi yang terjadi saat ini sudah merambat di kalangan anak remaja, pemerintah membentuk sebuah lembaga khusus menangani kasus anak salah satunya adalah Komisi Perlindungan dan Pengawasan Anak Daerah (KPPAD) Provinsi Kalimantan Barat sebagai wadah untuk menekan angka prostitusi anak remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan oleh KPPAD Provinsi kalimantan Barat dalam kasus prostitusi remaja yang sedang meningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualikatif deskriptif ditujukan untuk menjelaskan upaya yang dilakukan oleh KPPAD Provinsi kalimantan Barat dalam menangani kasus prostitusi anak di Kota Pontianak informasi didapat dari wawancara mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, 1) KPPAD Provinsi Kalimantan Barat melakukan upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan oleh KPPAD Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, serta bentuk penanganan yang dilakukan dengan memberikan advokasi perlindungan hukum serta mediasi terhadap anak remaja yang terlibat kasus prostitusi, 2) Efektivitas peran yang dilakukan oleh KPPAD Provinsi Kalimantan Barat dalam menangani kasus prostitusi anak di Kota Pontianak.
Human in their environment always give response to all things they recently accept. That response is also occurred in the community whose environment is developed to be a tourism attraction. The response is appear because of their need to utilize and improve their quality of life. The response of the community will affect the development of thetourismattractions. The involvement of the private sector will cause response from the local community. The response appears from the community will show the community's acceptance of the development of tourism area. Thus the response of the fishermen community of PoneloKepulauan to the development of Saronde Island is interesting to be examined. The responses of the fishermen community seen in this research are social response and economic response that appears since Saronde Island is developed by the private sector. Qualitative method is used with case study approach to reveal the form and factor of social and economic response of the fishermen community towards the development of Saronde Island. This research is done in Ponelo Islands, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The sources of the data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The determination of informants are selected by using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Data analysis is done with data reduction, presentation, and with draw the conclusion. To test the validity of the data obtained, this research usedtriangulation. Based on the findings in the field, researchers found that the social response of fishermen community of PoneloKepulauan to the development of Saronde Island tourism area includes a positive response and negative response. Positive response is the establishment of cooperation and adaptation of the fishermen community. Negative response is the indifferent society and the rejection of the fishermen community. The economic response of the fishermen community is the improvement of earnings after the development of Saronde Island. The response is influenced by several factors such as the income, perceptions, social and individual motives, and needs interests. All factor is working to encourage the emergence of social and economic response of fishermen communities of PoneloKepulauan to the development of Saronde Island.
A meeting between the local community and tourists will produce some social changes in the local community where tourist site is located. The present study describes forms of socio-cultural changes in the local communities since the formation of Pulo Cinta Eco Resort for four years. The purpose of the present study was to examine the forms of socio-cultural changes in Patoameme Village community after the development of Pulo Cinta Eco Resort. The research method was case study using descriptive approach. This was based on the issues, which were what the object was and how it was formed. The data collection used observation, in-depth interview, and document study. The data was analyzed by performing data reduction, display and conclusion drawing. The data validity was examined using data source triangulation technique. Based on the findings in the field, the socio-cultural changes were; 1) symbols, b) language, c) values and d) norms.
