3D printing techniques provides new power systems equipment industrial designing methods. The new constructor Siemens 3AP1 DT 145 kV circuit breaker is considered in the article.

3D printing techniques gives a new power systems equipment industrial designing methods. In article considered a new constructor (kit) of 220/110 kV 250 MVA autotransformer from 220 kV «Ryabina» substation in 1/35 scale. Kit, realized by bachelor students of UrFU.

This article describes the problem of practical knowledge lack in modern education system and gives the solution of the problem by creating the laboratory for the scale models production. This laboratory allows to create all 110 kV, 220 kV and 500 kV power equipment in all generally accepted scales. Low price of such scale models makes the product available for students of any educational institutions.
