In this manuscript, the compositional dependence of glass-forming ability (GFA) parameters in Hf--Cu-Ni glassy alloy has been discussed. Effect of Hf, Cu, and Ni in Hf-Cu-Ni glass-forming alloys with different GFA parameters such as ( )for the liquidus temperature (T l ) has been obtained. It is observed that the T l values of the alloy decrease linearly as P HS approaches to a negative scale. Obtained results were compared with the available reports and are found in agreement with each other. Present paper deals with the optimization of the composition to achieve good GFA in metallic glasses.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
