Kondisi Lembaga Pemasyarakatan di Indonesia yang telah melebihi kapasitas (overcrowded) menjadi kekhawatiran pemerintah akan penularan COVID-19 di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mengkaji problematika kebijakan pembebasan narapidana sebagai bentuk upaya penanggulangan COVID-19. Spesifi kasi pada penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitis dengan jenis penelitian hukum normatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya pemerintah dalam menanggulangi COVID-19 di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan yang telah "overcrowded" adalah dengan mengambil kebijakan pembebasan narapidana melalui jalur asimilasi dan hak integrasi. Namun, kebijakan ini tidak lepas dari adanya problematika yang hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat, seperti pengulangan kembali tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh mantan narapidana yang telah dibebaskan berdasarkan kebijakan ini.

The existence of criminal sanctions and acts in the form of chemical castration is a breakthrough and a manifestation of the implementation of double-track sentencing. The chemical castration treatment has led to the opposition of society. Consequently, to find out how the regulation of chemical castration treatment and to know what chemical castration is appropriate with the double-track criminal system. It is necessary to researching doctrinal research. The results showed that chemical castration is an treatment and castration has been contradicted with the double-track criminal system adopted by Indonesia.
The position of the prosecutor's office which is under two powers namely executive and judiciary causes the prosecutor's office to become an institution that is not independent and free, thus causing blemishes to commit fraud by prosecutors. This study aims to find out how the reality of the independence of prosecutors in prosecution and know how the cultural rearrangement for prosecutors in prosecution as a process of the criminal justice system. Research methods The research method uses normative research through a conceptual approach and a statue approach. The results showed that the ambiguous position of the prosecutor made the prosecutor hesitant in carrying out their duties, was not independent and was not free and there was a judicial mafia. With regard to this condition, re-structuring of the prosecutor's independence in prosecution is needed. This is intended so that the prosecutor's office becomes an independent institution by integrally restructuring the legal culture together with other criminal justice sub-systems through a religious approach, contextual approach and comparative approach
The hijacking of aircraft is a test in international criminal law. Besides of the fact that international conventions also control state authority, this issue is already present in international conventions, but also allows the State full power to enforce its national laws so that it can impose severe penalties on aircraft hijackers. The questions that form the basis of this legal inquiry are: how is the International Aircraft Hijacking Regulation and how to solve cases of Boeing 767-300 aircraft hijacking by Ethiopian Airlines. The empirical approach used in the drafting of this law is the standard legal approach. The analysis parameters used for this study are descriptive-analytical. The details for this analysis are International Convention Materials and Resources for the Library. The findings of the analysis concluded that the 1963 Tokyo Convention, the Hague Convention, the Montreal Convention, and the 1970 Hague Convention were concerned with the hijacking of aircraft. In the end, the suspects were prosecuted based on Ethiopian state authority as an aircraft registrar.
