An acute re-angiography demonstrated graft failure or incomplete re-vascularization in the majority of patients with myocardial ischaemia early after CABG. Re-operation for re-re-vascularization was performed with low risk. Few patients with circulatory collapse could be saved by an immediate re-operation without preceding angiography.
A pat ient wit h coronary art ery steal phenomenon through an anastomosis from t he right coronary artery to t he right bronchial artery . caused by a coarctation of the aorta, is reported. Th e angina was cc mptetetv relieved e tt er surgical ligat ion of t he anastomot ic vessel and repair of the coarctation.The literature has bee n reviewed . and t he present case appears to be the fir st wi t h symptomatic steal phenomenon in con nect ion wi th coarctat ion of the aorta.
