Ciaruteun Ilir is a village in the Bogor Regency area that becomes a problem in the form of a lack of well water during the dry season. The community overcomes this problem by taking water from the spring by walking through agricultural fields. Constraints of distance, time and, energy make people need more effort to get water. The Komunitas Pendidik Nusa together with the Yayasan Shaf Indonesia has changed the way of taking conventional water by incorporating electric water pump technology. The results of this service allow the community to enjoy clean water directly in their respective homes. A total of 15 families or the equivalent of 60 people felt the effects of this activity. As many as forty percentage residents have difficulty accessing water with electric pumps installed due to income constraints.
