Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a major public health problem worldwide. It is one of the main causes of infectious disease and mortality, especially in the developing countries, and has been recognized as one of the top ten causes of death worldwide by the World Health Organization. Aims and Objectives: The aims of this study were to assess clinical pattern and efficacy of Directly Observed Treatment Short-Course (DOTS) in management of peripheral tubercular lymphadenitis. Materials and Methods: This was a prospective, observational study among pediatric peripheral tubercular lymphadenitis patients to assess the clinical pattern, investigations, and treatment outcome. Results: In this study, 72 patients having peripheral tubercular lymphadenitis were enrolled. Most cases had cervical node involvement (81%). Discharging sinus was found in 28.98% cases. Acid-fast bacillus (AFB) was detected by fine needle aspiration and cytology (FNAC) in 21 cases (30.43%). Among them, pulmonary TB was found in two cases (9.52%), one patient being sputum positive. After treatment completion, lymph node(s) enlargement persisted in 6 (8.69%) cases, of which two patients (2.89%) had persistent discharging sinus. On repeat FNAC, acid-fast bacilli were seen in two patients. Success rate was 91.3% confirming the efficacy of DOTS in the management of tubercular lymphadenitis. Conclusions: Cervical lymphadenitis was found to be most common type of peripheral lymphadenitis. Cytopathology from the suspected lymph nodes had better success rate than AFB detection or CBNAAT of FNAC samples for diagnosing tubercular etiology in the study. DOTS strategy was effective for peripheral tubercular lymphadenitis with high success rate in this study.
Background: Infection-related glomerulonephritis (IGRN) is an immune-complex mediated renal injury occurring simultaneously with the infection. Till date, though rare, all the reported cases of IRGN were caused by either Streptococcus spp. or Staphylococcus spp. Emerging suggestive risk factors for IRGN were diabetes mellitus, malignancy, HIV infection, and alcoholism. IRGN following Rickettsial infection, its disease course, and fatality are unknown. Aims and Objectives: In the pediatric population most of the cases are diagnosed as post-infection glomerulonephritis that occurred after a latent period. Here we have presented five typical cases of IRGN with its complication caused by atypical organism. From both points of view, the case series is rare and unique. Materials and Methods: The authors report five cases of IRGN in scrub typhus infection that illustrate the difficulty of its diagnosis and do a brief review of the literature on this topic. Results: All the five cases were presented with fever, without any Eschar except one. Moreover, they presented with bizarre renal symptoms confounding diagnosis. All the cases had neutropenia and lymphocytosis that was the sole finding to point toward scrub typhus. But none of our cases had developed acute kidney injury as such. Conclusion: Scrub typhus is an acute febrile illness. Hence, patients with nephritic presentation should be evaluated for Scrub typhus infection if associated with long-term unresolving fever.
This research focuses on the development of the Indian animation industry. In Animation Pipeline pre-production is an important stage that determines the success of a film. Create and develop a story is the fast step and all other steps have to follow that storyline till final film realized. In this research paper present the survey base online questionnaire and the data has been collected of 300 artist who belong into Indian animation industry conducted in September 2020 by using google form. In general, Indian animation industry mostly run into production and post production (technical) base work so Indian animation industry has a smaller number of vacancies for pre-production (design and planning) artist and also having a very a smaller number of design and planning artist because of that they have highly demand. To evaluate and determine the factors that may affect the level of Indian animation pre-production industry. The study helpful to identify the animation industry current need and it focuses on planning stage to production of a movie. This research paper concludes 95% of artist working into the industry for production and post production if they are properly working into preproduction and then start into the movie work then there will be more vacancy for pre-production artist and end of the day production cost reduced up to 25 %.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
