As estacas escavadas com anéis foram desenvolvidas objetivando aumentar a capacidade de carga de estacas escavadas comuns, realizando ranhuras no solo em profundidades pré-determinadas, com uma ponteira acoplada ao trado. Para analisar os valores de carga última de tração por métodos semi-empíricos e de extrapolação da curva carga x deslocamento, foram executadas duas estacas com 10 m de comprimento, 400 mm de diâmetro e anéis espaçados em 1,5 m no fuste, submetidas a esforços de tração por ensaios de prova de carga. Foram utilizados os métodos semi-empíricos de Décourt-Quaresma e de Aoki-Velloso, considerando duas simulações: (A) os anéis atuando conjuntamente, formando um cilindro contínuo, e (B) os três primeiros anéis trabalhando como múltiplas bases; e aplicado o método de extrapolação da curva carga x deslocamento de Van der Veen. O valor médio por Van der Veen foi de 985,0 kN. Já os de Aoki-Velloso e de Décourt-Quaresma para a simulação (A) foram 493,2 kN e 847,0 kN, enquanto que, para a simulação (B), foram 901,5 kN e 978,2 kN. Observou-se que a simulação de múltiplas bases, por Décourt-Quaresma, foi a que mais se aproximou dos resultados de Van der Veen.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Estacas escavadas com anéis, tração, capacidade de carga, semi-empíricos, extrapolação.ABSTRACT: Dry bored piles with rings were developed to increase the capacity of traditional bored piles, with a rotation movement of a "pointer" attached to the auger, in the drilling phase, at predetermined depths. To make a comparative analysis between the values of tensile resistance by semi-empirical methods and methods of extrapolation of the load-movement curve, this paper analyzed two piles, they were 10 m long, had 400 mm in diameter and rings spaced 1,5 m along the shaft. They were submitted to load testing. The Décourt-Quaresma and Aoki-Velloso semi-empirical methods were used, considering two simulations: (A) the rings acting together, forming a cylinder, and (B) the first three rings working as multiple bases. And the Van der Veen method was the method of extrapolation of load-movement curve applied. The mean value found by the Van der Veen method was 985,0 kN. The Aoki-Velloso and Décourt-Quaresma method values for simulation (A) were 493,2 kN and 847,0 kN, and, for simulation (B), were 901,5 kN and 978,2 kN. It was observed that the simulation with multiple bases, using the Décourt-Quaresma method, showed the better results for the prediction of the resistance.
