RESUMENEl objetivo del presente texto es describir, de manera general, los hallazgos que diferentes áreas de conocimiento han aportado para el análisis e intervención del fenómeno migratorio ilegal, centrado en una revisión sobre los tópicos remesas económicas y las redes sociales. Al respecto se llevó a cabo la revisión de algunos estudios que describen, en el plano teórico, la estructura del fenómeno migratorio, rescatando, la condición económica como principal factor e impulsor de las diásporas contemporáneas; así mismo se consideran algunas experiencias investigativas desde un enfoque basado en el impacto de la migración desde la perspectiva de los individuos involucrados. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre el tema a partir de una propuesta psicosocial, tratando de aportar elementos significativos que evidencien la participación de esta área del conocimiento no sólo en plano interpretativo, sino desde sus posibilidades de intervención. ABSTRACTA revision is realized on the topics mainly explored as far as the subject of international the illegal migration: The economic remittances and the social networks. The objective of the present text is to describe, of general way, the findings that different areas from knowledge have contributed for the analysis and intervention of illegal the migratory phenomenon. On the matter the revision of some studies that they describe, in the theoretical plane was carried out, the structure of the migratory phenomenon, rescuing, the economic condition like main factor and impeller of the contemporary social movements; also some research experiences are considered from an approach based on the impact of the migration from the point of view of the involved individuals. Finally, it is reflected on the subject from a psycho-social proposal, trying to contribute significant elements that they demonstrate the participation of this area of the knowledge not only in interpretative plane, but from its possibilities of intervention.
