A survey of managers in the Greater Vancouver, B.C. reglon revealed a predicted low level of manager-machine interaction.Lack of manager-oriented computer languages and the process-orientation of most computer data processing departments were identified as the two key constraints to the manager-machine interface.An interactive model for a managerial application was developed in APL and it was determined that APL was not a suitable language for managerial interactive useage.
