Copolymers based on 4,4′-dihydroxydiphenyl, phenolphthalein and 4,4′-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone were synthesized by the method of high temperature polycondensation. The structure of the synthesized copolymers was confirmed by IR spectroscopy. Their physical, mechanical and thermal properties were investigated. It is shown that increases in the content of carded fragments lead to higher glass transition temperatures and heat resistance of the copolymers, as well as higher elastic and strength properties.
The diketoximes of 4,4'-diacetyldiphenyl oxide and 4,4'-diacetyldiphenyl sulfide were synthesized, the possibility of their use for the synthesis of simple and complex polyesters and polypyrroles, as well as the ability to complex with nickel salts.
Organic chemistry used oximes in the 19th century, afterward, as an analytical reagent in the 20th century. Currently, oximes are superior to carbonyl compounds and alcohols in the variety of reactions and the widespread use in synthetic chemistry. Oximes easily turn into other classes of organic compounds – amines, cyano and nitro compounds, carbonyl compounds, heterocyclic compounds, including pyrroles, imidazoles, pyridines, they can be used as suitable compounds with salts of Cu (II), Ni (II), Zn (II), Cd (II), and Co (II).
Oximes with complex heterocyclic and aromatic substituents are used as intermediates in fine organic synthesis.
It should be noted that oximes have a wide spectrum of biocidal action and are used as anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial agents, insecticides. Their versatile biological activity is considered in the preparation of antidepressant, sedative, vasodilator and other drugs [1].
New universal modifiers (UM) - simple block copoly-ether-hydroximates of various chemical structures were synthesized. It was found that a 5 % by weight addition of UM to Radel R, an industrial aromatic simple polyethersulfone, improves its heat, heat resistance and physicomechanical properties.
Polyether ether ketones based on 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone and hydroquinone in sulfolane medium in the presence of anhydrous potassium carbonate were synthesized by the method of high-temperature polycondensation. The rheological, thermal, electrical and physical-mechanical properties are investigated. It is shown that, at processing temperatures, the molecular weight of polyether ether ketones synthesized in sulfolane increases, apparently due to the branching processes of the polymer chain.
The article is a literature review on 3D-printing of crystalline polyether ether ketone by the methods of layer-by-layer deposition of molten polymer filament (FDM) and selective laser sintering (SLS). The influence of printing technological modes and material properties (fluidity, morphology, etc.) on the quality of the products is considered.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
