Summary
In this paper, a photovoltaic (PV) array tied modified three‐port interleaved flyback converter (MTPIFC) is proposed to power shunt active power filter (SHAPF). The MTPIFC is intended to feed a SHAPF from a PV power source to overcome the power quality issues associated with the interconnection of nonlinear loads with the low‐power distribution network. The three‐phase six‐level cascaded multi‐level inverter operated as a SHAPF reduces the current harmonics and the number of active and passive components compared to widely used MLI. This study also presents a DQ current control method with a modified phase‐locked loop to generate the required reference signal for the PV‐SHAPF. Extensive recreation and test contemplates are done to confirm the capacity of the suggested PV‐SHAPF.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
