This study aimed to evaluate the effect of using leaf flour of Indigofera zollingeriana which was added to the ration on the productivity and quality of Arab chicken eggs. This research conducted in March to May of 2018. This research conducted at the Permata Poultry Farm Group in Wua Wua Village, Kendari. This research used a completely randomized design with four (4) treatments and four (4) replications. The experimental ration which was tested consisted of: P0 = The Ration contained 0% Indigofera leaf flour, P1 = ration containied 10% Indigofera leaf flour, P2 = Ration contained 15% Indigofera leaf flour, and P3 = Ration contained 20% Indigofera leaf flour. The parameters were observed feed consumption, egg weight, feed conversion, daily egg production. The research data were analyzed by using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) based on RAL in using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software. If the treatment has a significant effect, further testing will be carried out with the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results of this study showed that the addition leaf flour of indigofera zollingeriana in Arab chicken rations affected the feed conversion and egg weight of Arabic chicken, however indigofera leaf flour did not affect the feed consumption and egg production of Arab chickenKeywords: Indigofera Zollingeriana, Feed conversion, Egg Production, Arabic Chicken.
This study aims to determine the best dose of fertilizer Bokashi broiler chicken manure on the growth of elephant grass. This study uses 64 trees planted elephant grass in a polybag, divided into 16 plots and the design of treatment used is Complete Random Design (RAL). This study consisted of 4 treatment that P0 (0 ton / ha Fertilizer Bokashi manure Broiler), P1 (10 ton / ha Fertilizer Bokashi manure Broiler), P2 (15 ton / ha Fertilizer Bokashi manure Broiler) and P3 (20 ton / ha Broiler Chicken manure Fertilizer Bokashi), and four replications. The research variables include plant height, number of tillers, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of segments, and root length. Analysis of data using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's multiple test. The results are: The average of plant height (cm / week / treatment) is (P0) 99.11, (P1) 132.45, (P2) 133.61, (P3) 129.95. The average number of saplings (tree / week / treatment) is (P0) 0.99, (P1) 1.46, (P2) 1.93, (P3) 2.3. Mean stem diameter (cm / Week / treatment) is (P0) 0.97, (P1) 1.44, (P2) 1.47 (P3) 1.37. The average number of leaves (Overlay / treatment) is (P0) 10.85, (P1) 19.89, (P2) 21.77, (P3) 22.56. The average number of segment (Segment / treatment) is (P0) 2.88, (P1) of 4.93, (P2) 4.38, (P3) 3.88. The average root length (cm / treatment) is (P0) 72.22 (P1) 98, (P2) 104.75 (P3) 98.75. Bokashi fertilizer application broiler chicken manure can increase the growth of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum var. Hawaii)with the best dose of 15 ton / ha. ABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tepung daun Indigofera (Indigofera zollingeriana) yang diberikan dalam pakan terhadap kualitas telur ayam arab. Penelitian didesain menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 (empat) perlakuan dan 4 (empat) ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian terdiri atas: P0 = Ransum mengandung 0% Tepung daun Indigofera, P1 = Ransum mengandung 10% Tepung daun Indigofera, P2 = Ransum mengandung 15% Tepung daun Indigofera, dan P3 = Ransum mengandung 20% Tepung daun Indigofera. Peubah yang diukur dan diamati meliputi berat kuning telur, berat putih telur, berat kerabang telur, warna kuning telur, kadar lemak, kadar protein, dan kadar kolesterol. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) berdasarkan RAL menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Jika perlakuan berpengaruh nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut dengan Uji Duncan Multiple Range Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung daun indigofera dalam pakan ayam arab, dapat mempengaruhi berat kuning telur, berat putih telur, berat kerabang telur, dan warna kuning telur ayam arab. The body needs animal protein needs in this new normal. This research aimed to determine the storage time for Pindang seasoned broiler chicken, which was packaged using a plastic vacuum bag (vacuum pack). The problem with this research was that the exact length of storage for Pindang Spice broiler chicken's nutritional quality wasn’t known by using a vacuum pack. This research will be conducted for one year (12 months). This research will be conducted in Bau-Bau City, Betoambari road, Bones village. Analysis of the nutritional content of Pindang Spiced broiler chickens meat will be carried out at the UHO Faculty of Animal Husbandry Technology Laboratory. The research that will be conducted is experimental. The research used a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments and four replications, each consisting of 500 grams of pindang seasoned broiler chickens. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) based on a completely randomized design using the SPSS standard. Further testing was carried out with the Duncan Multiple Range Test if the treatment had a significant effect. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the protein content and fat content significantly (P0.05) on the nutritional quality of Pindang Spiced Broiler chicken meat packaged in a vacuum pack. At the same time, the best treatment was obtained on the length of use of the vacuum pack on the nutritional quality of the results of this research, namely in the P2 treatment (10 days of storage), where the protein content, fat content, and water content of the meat were of higher quality.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penambahan tepung daun Indigofera zollingeriana terhadap kualitas kimia telur ayam arab. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan di kelompok peternakan unggas Permata Kelurahan Wua - wua, Kendari. Pengujian kandungan kolesterol, lemak, dan protein telur dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Institut Pertanian Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Ransum perlakuan menggunakan persentase tepung daun Indigofera zollingeriana yang diuji terdiri atas: P0= 0% (kontrol), P1= 10%, P2= 15%, dan P3= 20%. Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar lemak, protein, dan kolestrol telur ayam arab. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Apabila perlakuan berpengaruh nyata maka dilakukan Uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan tepung daun Indigofera zollingeriana pada pakan hingga 20% tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap kadar protein, lemak, dan kolestrol telur Ayam Arab (P>0,05). Penggunaan tepung daun Indigofera zollingeriana sampai dengan 20% dalam pakan tidak mempengaruhi kualitas kimia telur ayam arab.
