Minimizing the energy demand of machining operations has become mainly in the manufacturing field; encouraged by the significantly increase in the energy cost and the environmental effects due to high levels of energy demand. The energy consumed to cutting operation in turning process was divided into two sections, i.e. the energy used to setup machine and the energy consumed to cutting process. The total energy demand of machining process can be estimated with prediction equations based on material removal rate (MRR) and cutting force. This paper aims to promote an approach to predict and calculated the total energy demand of cutting operation performing the sustainable in turning process. The results presented that the estimated of energy demand values are almost similar to the actual values about 7.3 percent than the actual energy demand.

Betao Village, Pituriawa District, Sidrap Regency is an area that has a diversity of regional special drinks, one of which is instant ginger (sarabba). The PKM team aims to train (a) Making Appropriate Technology (TTG) in the form of sarabba "Penyerbuk" tools; (b) Training on ginger cultivation (c) Training on making sarabba powder packaging and (d) Mentoring by utilizing ginger. The method that will be applied is the introduction of making and training on the operation of the "Penyerbuk" tool, demonstration and how to make ready-to-eat sarabba in powder form, counseling on ginger cultivation, and marketing methods for sarabba powder products and business management training. The outputs of this PKM activity are (a) Appropriate technology tools in the form of sarabba "Penyerbuk" tools; (b) Ginger cultivation counseling (c) Sarabba powder products that still have the distinctive taste of Sidrap Regency. Abstrak Desa Betao Kecamatan Pituriawa Kabupaten Sidrap adalah daerah yang memiliki keanearagaman minuman khas daerah salah satunya adalah jahe instan (sarabba). Tim PKM memiliki tujuan untuk melatih (a) Pembuatan Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) Berupa alat “penyerbuk” sarabba; (b) Pelatihan mengenai budidaya jahe (c) Pelatihan pembuatan kemasan sarabba bubuk dan (d) Pendampingan dengan memanfaatkan jahe. Metode yang akan diterapkan adalah introduksi pembuatan dan pelatihan pengoperasian alat “penyerbuk”, demonstrasi dan cara pembuatan sarabba yang siap saji dalam bentuk serbuk, penyuluhan budidaya jahe, dan metode pemasaran produk sarabba bubuk dan pelatihan manajemen usaha. Luaran dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah (a) Alat Teknologi tepat guna berupa alat “penyerbuk” sarabba; (b) Penyuluhan budidaya jahe (c) Produk Sarabba bubuk yang tetap memiliki cita rasa khas Kabupaten Sidrap.

Nowadays lots of material is produced to increase there-mineralization of tooth enamel. The eggshells are one ofmaterials that can also increase the re-mineralization of toothenamel. Eggshells are one of calcium carbonate sources with levelsof 95%. The egg produces waste in the form of eggshells. One ofthe alternatives in tackling the eggshells is to turn it into a calciumcompound. It is the main ingredient of bones and enamel tooth.This paper is proposed to investigate the effect of recurrent heatingon mechanical properties of artificial teeth. This review wasdescribed some study experimental that was performed to heat thespecimen with 20oC, 40oC, 100oC, and 120oC. The heating result ofspecimen was observed to determine the hardness using Brinneland Vickers scale. It was concluded that the higher of heatingtemperature will decrease the hardness of denture base acrylic.

Bengkel adalah usaha yang berkembang pesat dan sangat menunjang diera perkembangan industri saat ini. Mitra dalam kegiatan PKM ini yaitu usaha bengkel mobil yang bertempat di Jl..Tamangapa Raya Kota Makassar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra tingginya tingkat persaingan, Sehingga di tuntut untuk melakukan perencanaan dan strategi untuk menghasilkan keunggulan bersaing. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah : 1). Pelatihan desain dalam meningkatkan inovasi produk  yang lebih beragam, 2). Pelatihan pembuatan produk dengan desain yang lebih inovatif, 3). Pelatihan dan penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) agar dapat bekerja dalam kondisi yang sehat, nyaman, dan aman sehingga dapat terus mendorong produktivitas usaha, 4).Pelatihan manajemen usaha yang bertujuan usaha tidak akan mudah goyah atau mengalami ketidakseimbangan dan 5). Pelatihan manajemen pemasaran dalam memperluas jangkauan. Rencana kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan selama 8 (delapan) bulan. Selain itu, dalam pelatihan ini peserta terdiri dari 10 orang. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah : Sumber daya manusia yang lebih terampil dalam membuat desain produk yang lebih beragam dan inovatif.   Kata kunci : desain, bengkel, K3, sumber daya manusia, pemasaran
