This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of lending and placement of funds in other banks on the ability of banks to increase profitability. The study was taken data from one of the XYZ micro banking institutions in West Sumatra, based on year-end financial data from 2009 to 2019. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data source used is secondary data in the form of financial statement data for micro banking institutions for 11 (eleven) years. The data analysis method uses the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results showed that partially lending had a negative and significant effect on increasing profitability, placement of funds in other banks had a negative and insignificant effect on the increase in profitability of XYZ micro banking. Simultaneously, the variable of credit distribution and placement of funds in other banks has a significant effect on the increase in profitability of the XYZ micro banking institution
In environmental crimes, if a corporation has been sentenced to a criminal sentence, it is as if the sentence has been fulfilled. Considering that environmental crimes can result in many victims, both physically and psychologically, who feel disadvantaged as a result of criminal acts committed by corporations. However, along with the number of environmental crime cases, there are also many rights of social victims and social objects that have not been fulfilled. Therefore, this research wants to find the ideal legal protection for victims of environmental crimes. This research method uses a qualitative type of literature review. Primary data source UUD RI and research journals. This data analysis uses content content. The results of the study show that the main form of legal protection for victims of environmental crimes besides the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is environmental restoration for the benefit of environmental preservation. In resolving environmental disputes, the parties can use out-of-court channels, namely mediation or court channels with the concept of restorative justice that emphasizes the rights of victims and the interests of perpetrators of environmental crimes.
The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of discipline on the performance of teachers and employees, to determine the effect of motivation on the performance of teachers and employees and to determine the effect of discipline and motivation on the performance of teachers and employees at MAN 3 Padang Panjang City. The type of research is descriptive research, using multiple regression test and using statistical tools Pragram For Social Scence (SPSS). The data used are secondary data and primary data taken at MAN 3 Padang Panjang at the end of 2021. The population is all 41 teachers and employees of MAN 3 Padang Panjang, as well as as many as samples. The variables in this study are; first, the independent variable (X) which includes Discipline (X1) and Motivation (X2), second, the dependent variable (Y) Performance at MAN 3 Padang Panjang. And measuring the variables used Sklala Linkert, as well as the results analysis method with Instrumental test, descriptive analysis of variables and classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results of multiple regression analysis with the results of Y=29.356+0.389X1+0.372 X2, where it was found that discipline had a significant effect on teacher and employee performance, motivation had a significant effect on teacher and employee performance and discipline and motivation together had a significant effect on performance of teachers and employees at MAN 3 Padang Panjang.
