The study was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of teaching strategy based on Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory to improve multiple intelligences and science process skills of junior high school students in Indonesia. The study used quasi experimental design and the effectiveness of the teaching strategy was evaluated by pretest-posttest-control-group design. The samples consisted of two schools selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The experimental group (n=63) was taught using the MI strategy while the control group (n=61) was taught using the traditional strategy. This study was conducted in 12 weeks. Data were obtained from multiple intelligences test, science process skills test, and observation sheets. The hypotheses of student multiple intelligences and science process skills were tested using Wilcoxon’s Signed Rank Test and ANOVA test. The results indicated that students who were instructed by using MI strategy improved on four specific types of multiple intelligences namely visual spatial, intrapersonal, kinesthetic, and musical intelligences. However, the interpersonal logic remains unchanged, while the mathematical logic decreases after treatment. Also, these showed an improvement of the science process skills, specifically in the questioning ability.

Hal penting yang ingin ditingkatkan berkenaan pembelajaran yaitu methods dan insight. Metode meliputi pengetahuan profesionalisme guru yang akan terlihat dalam rancangan pembelajaran dan penerapannya. Insight merupakan hal-hal yang tidak nampak dalam rancangan pembelajaran, unpredictable, terjadi spontan dalam pembelajaran, dan guru harus mengambil keputusan (decision). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan pengelolaan pembelajaran secara reflektif, dengan cara menganalisis pembelajaran berdasarkan salinan percakapan selama proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian 'Penerapan Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA) Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Pembelajaran Kimia Di SMA Negeri 7 Banjarmasin'. TBLA merupakan salah satu cara dalam Lesson Analysis yang merupakan bagian dari Lesson Study. Adapun langkah-langkah penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Merencanakan research lesson, (2) Implementasi pembelajaran, meliputi: observasi, refleksi, transkripsi (instant transcript), (3) Analisis pembelajaran melalui full transcript yang diperoleh melalui rekaman audio dan video. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas 12 MIPA-2 SMAN 7 Banjarmasin secara bersiklus. Berdasarkan hasil TBLA siklus 1 dan 2 terlihat kecenderungan transkrip percakapan secara klasikal masih didominasi oleh guru. Adapun dampak positif penerapan Lesson study antara lain: membantu guru mengkritisi pembelajarannya berdasarkan hasil reflektif, membantu guru dalam memantau aktivitas peserta didik secara lebih detail, karena bantuan observer dan meningkatkan kolaborasi guru dalam team teaching.

Science process skills and self-efficacy need to be trained in students in chemistry learning activities at school. This will have a positive impact on students in facing and solving problems in their lives. The Scientific Critical Thinking (SCT) model is one of the models that can be used to implement learning. This research was conducted at SMAN 11 Banjarmasin, class XI MIPA 2, on the buffer solution’s material, assisted by google classroom and google meet. This study aims to determine (1) the improvement of students ‘science process skills (2) students’ self-efficacy, before and after learning with the SCT model, and (3) student responses to the application of the SCT model assisted by google classroom and google meet. This research method is a pre-experiment, one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample of class XI MIPA 2 students used a purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is the SCT model; the dependent variable is science process skills and students’ self-efficacy. Data collection using test and non-test techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that (1) there was an increase in students’ science process skills; (2) there is an increase in student self-efficacy (3) Students’ positive responses to learning with the SCT model assisted by google classroom and google meet.

The study aimed to reveal the difficulty level of items and the suitability of items of Chemistry test with the Rasch model. In addition to detecting this item quality, the Rasch model shows the student's answer pattern as well, so that the assessment can imply the quality of the instrument as an assessment of chemical learning. As many as 20 numbers of multiple-choice questions in chemical bonding material were analyzed by using WINSTEPS 3.73. The samples consisted of 200 senior high school students in Banjarmasin Indonesia. The results revealed that the average item measure was 0.00 with items (Measure Order = 4.64) which has the highest difficulty level. The Q10 was the item that has a level of conformity with the model, and outliers or misfit in Rasch were MNSQ=+0.97, ZSTD=-0.2, Pt Mean Corr=+0.58. In other words, assessment of learning with test techniques such as multiple choice based on Rasch model analysis was an effective way for teachers to review the progress of students in the learning process, guidelines for designing chemical learning strategies, and identifying students' understanding of chemical material.
