In the dielectric relaxation curves measured for P(VDF/TrFE): poly(vinylidene fluoride and tritluoroethylene) copolymers, additional anomalies appear below the Curie transition. These additional anomalies are sensitive to thermal history, and the samples annealed above the melting point show the remarkable effect. The observed phenomena are discussed in terms of molecular interactions with structural disorder in the phase transition.
ChemInform is a weekly Abstracting Service, delivering concise information at a glance that was extracted from about 100 leading journals. To access a ChemInform Abstract of an article which was published elsewhere, please select a “Full Text” option. The original article is trackable via the “References” option.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
