Nonoperative management remains a safe way to treat pancreatic injuries despite an average 30% rate of pseudocyst (PC) appearance. It allows a reduction in the number of children who required procedures to less than half of the patients where PC occurred. Furthermore, these procedures were exclusively mini-invasive.
