This research was motivated by curiosity what is the role of parents when accompanying children to do chores at home during the pandemic. This study aims to determine (1) the role of parents in online learning at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi Jakarta Barat, (2) Efforts by parents in increasing the seriousness of students in online learning at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi Jakarta Barat and (3) the obstacles faced faced by parents in online learning at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi, Jakarta Barat. The methodology of this research is qualitative. The subjects in this study were parents and homeroom teachers for grade II at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi, Jakarta Barat. Data collection was taken through interviews, observation, documentation. The author acts as a direct interviewer to collect data through parents and second grade homeroom teachers. The results showed that (1) The role of parents in online learning at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi Jakarta Barat is to have three roles at once, namely the role of parents, breadwinners and teachers at home (2) The efforts of parents in increasing the seriousness of students in online learning at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi Jakarta Barat is to provide motivation, guidance and assistance (3) Obstacles faced by parents in online learning at SDN Kembangan Utara 09 Pagi Jakarta Barat are limited infrastructure facilities, such as mobile phones, motivation, internet quota and time. Purpose–The objective of the present investigation was to scrutinize and elucidate the Quality of Boarding schools to foster the production of high-quality graduates. The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Insan Cendekia Serpong and Dwiwarna Parung Senior High School. Design/methods/approach–This study utilized qualitative methodology, which involved various data collection techniques such as field observations, interviews with key informants within the school setting, document analysis, library research, and examination of prior research findings. The collected data were analyzed using various techniques including data reduction, presentation, and verification. Findings–The study findings indicate that Madrasa Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia Boarding School Serpong and Dwiwarna Senior High School Boarding School Parung surpassed national quality assurance benchmarks. Graduation chart data from 2012 to 2017 exhibited a positive trend in progress. Madrasa Aliyah Negeri Scholars had a 94% acceptance rate into state universities, 147 students accepted into prestigious public universities in Indonesia, four accepted into private colleges, and five being accepted into overseas institutions. Similarly, Dwiwarna high school had a 50% acceptance rate into public universities, with 39 students accepted into public universities, 42 accepted into private universities, and six accepted into foreign universities. Research implications/limitations–The study highlights the importance of quality assurance management in improving the performance of boarding schools. Future research can investigate the impact of specific quality assurance management practices on the academic outcomes of boarding schools. Originality/value–This Study provides unique insights into the impact of quality assurance management on a specific academic outcome, which can inform future research in the field of education.
Students' religious attitudes towards the state are still considered low, and there are even some students who refer to the state as toghut. However, the student's religious moderation is actually the key in realizing tolerance both at the national and international levels. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perspective of the moderate group of students on national commitment in Islamic universities. This study uses a qualitative method of descriptive analysis with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and document studies. The results showed that religious moderation among students of Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta, did not have a negative connotation. Students have a tawasuth attitude that is not extreme left and right and more open in accepting religious arguments.
