The experiment was conducted in experimental area belonging to the Instituto Federal Goiano-Câmpus Rio Verde in the State of Goiás. Objective to evaluate the production of fresh, dry matter productivity of barley varieties malteira in winter period, subject to different levels of water replacement, under conventional sprinkler irrigation system. In each subplot experimental units were implemented with 7 rows of plants with 0.06 m spacing between plants and 0.46 m between rows and 2 feet in length, totaling 7.84 m2 of total area per sub-plot and a density of approximately 363 000 plants ha-1. Irrigation was conducted on the basis of digital tensiometria with sensitivity of 0.1 kPa, with reading recorded daily, being conducted whenever the irrigation installed tensiometers to 0.20 m reached 60 KPa, and the blade was calculated by the equation of Van Genutchen. Being the blades, 100% of the water needs of culture, 50% of the water needs of culture and nonirrigated land. The experimental design used was randomized blocks, parsed into subdivided parcel scheme 3 x 4, with three repetitions. The rated factor was the plots 3 spare water levels based on the need of water culture (0, 50 and 100% water replacement) and the subplots the 4 varieties of barley malteira, namely BRS Aliensa, BRS Itanema, BRS Manduri and BRS Sampa. The treatment that most stood out as the production of biomass and productivity was the variety BRS Itanema with 100% water replacement.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
