Precipitation in many systems was performed by mixing solutions of varied concentrations. The formation of sediment from the clear solution was determined by tyndallometer. The results are represented by precipitation diagrams. Four types of precipitation diagrams were found: "ionic solubility" (A), "~orming ion pairs" (13), "'neutralization" (C), and "mixed types" (D). Typical examples are HgeSO4 (A), Cu(OH)2 (B), Bi(OH)a (C) and AgSCN (D).
