encouraging new subsurface information. Two wells were drilled and both recorded temperatures in excess of l00°c. One of these confirmed a new target area. Geophysical surveys refined earlier concepts of the boundaries of the three areas of interest and allowed a division into: a. the South Reservoir b. the North Reservoir c. the Lillooet Valley resistivity anomaly. · The South Reservoir is the best-defined. It has been under specific study since 1974. Seven diamond drill holes have been put down within or near its boundaries. Exploratory work on the North Reservoir and the Lillooet Valley resistivity anomaly is not as advanced as that on the South Reservoir.
