Mots clés Jeune · Rectum · LiniteAbstract The primary linitis rectal is a rare tumor and extremely aggressive, generally diagnosed at a late stage, which makes the forecast very pejorative. We report the case of a young patient of 31-years-old treated by radiochemotherapy for a primary linitis rectal.
Mots clés Phéochromocytome · GrossesseAbstract Pheochromocytoma is rarely observed during pregnancy and not easily diagnosed, especially since the clinical manifestations may mimic common gravid hypertension. The maternal and foetal prognosis depends on early diagnosis and multidisciplinary management preparing for tumor resection. Appropriate laboratory tests easily provide the positive diagnosis, if they are ordered. The tumor is localized by ultrasonography or scanner. By prescribing an alpha-blocker, it is possible to prepare there section as a function of term, before or after delivery. This strategy makes it possible to reduce a maternal death and foetal which is very high when the diagnosis is ignored.
Lung cancer is listed as the most fatal type of cancer around the world. ERG, a transcription factor, is an ETS family member protein. It is involved in Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition (EMT), metastasis and DNA repair defects. Etoposide is a chemotherapeutic agent used in treatment of a variety of different cancer types, including lung cancer. Moreover, Etoposide has been tested alone and in combination with other drugs in order to inhibit DNA synthesis and exhibit antitumor activity. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Etoposide treatment on ERG transfected non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell line, H358.
Mots clés Corticosurrénalome · Métastase · PeauAbstract Cutaneous metastases of abdominal malignant tumours are rare. Cutaneous metastases of an adrenal cortical carcinoma have seldom been reported even at an advanced stage of the disease. We report the case of a patient who consulted for a cutaneous axillary lesion, whose exploration had shown the existence of a large adrenal lesion. The histological examination showed that the lesion was a cutaneous metastasis of a malignant adrenal cortical carcinoma.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
