Kabupaten Lombok Barat, terutama Kecamatan Gunung Sari memiliki sumberdaya alam dan iklim yang sangat cocok untuk perkembangan lebeh Trigona sp. Lebah ini memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan relatif sangat mudah untuk dibudidayakan. Apalagi lebah ini tidak menyengat sehingga bisa dibudidayakan bahkan oleh anak-anak. Saat ini permintaan madu Trigona sp di pasar lokal NTB dan nasional semakin hari semakin meningkat. Apalagi sejak Covid19, polen dan madu Trigona diindikasikan oleh beberapa penelitian internasional dapat membantu penyembuhan pasien terdampak Covid19. Saat ini, sudah mulai ada peternak yang membudidayakan lebah Trigona sp di Kecamatan Gunungsari, termasuk di desa Taman Sari. Akan tetapi, para peternak masih menggunakan cara tradisional dan belum mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan budidaya yang tepat guna. akibatnya produksi Trigona mereka masih sangat rendah. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini memperkenalkan teknologi inovasi budidaya lebah Trigona yang dapat membantu mereka meningkatkan produksi. Teknologi inovasi ini juga dijamin mudah untuk diadopsi oleh para peternak karena teknologinya sederhana.
Kelompok UMKM di Desa Setiling berada di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Kelompok ini berfokus pada pengolahan dan pemasaran produk jamu tradisional, keripik labu siam, gula semut, dan keripik pakis. Selama ini UMKM di Desa Setiling masih melakukan kegiatan pemasaran dengan cara konvensional dengan sasaran pembeli masyarakat di desa tersebut. Akibatnya, kegiatan pemasaran ini belum optimal dan belum didukung dengan penggunaan teknologi mengenai pentingnya menghasilkan foto produk yang baik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran pada UMKM di Desa Setiling Kabupaten Lombok Tengah melalui pelatihan foto produk. Kegiatan foto produk ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan smartphone peserta. Target utama dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelaku UMKM yang telah mendapatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan pada tahun 2022. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah partisipatif interaktif. Pengabdian dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan dan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian terdiri atas 14 orang pelaku UMKM dan tiga orang mahasiswa. Di awal kegiatan, peserta diberikan materi mengenai arti pentingnya foto produk dalam pemasaran. Peserta juga diberikan pemahaman mengenai teknik foto produk dan contoh-contoh foto produk sebagai referensi. Setelah kegiatan penyampaian materi, peserta kemudian mempraktikkan secara langsung ilmu yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan smartphonenya. Selama kegiatan praktik peserta dapat menggunakan property yang dibawa oleh tim pengabdian. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, peserta telah memiliki pemahaman mengenai teknik-teknik foto produk dan mampu menghasilkan foto produk menggunakan smartphone yang dimiliki. Dengan demikian, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai strategi pemasaran. Hasil lainnya adalah peserta berhasil mengunggah foto produk ke akun e-commersenya.
The work of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of the community food barn in terms of the availability and easy access of the community, both farmer members of the barn and other communities in the village to food, and to analyze the comparison of the income levels of farmers who are members of the community food barn with non-members. This research was conducted in West Lombok Regency. This study uses secondary data and primary data. Secondary data were obtained from literature studies. Meanwhile, primary data was obtained from direct observation and interviews by using a questionnaire with 60 respondents. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that the Community Food Barn Program in West Lombok has not been effective. The most tangible benefit from the existence of the Community Food Barn Program is that members can use the Food Barn to store their harvested grain and guarantee the availability of food reserves for members and the entire family because they are allowed to borrow grain.
This study aims to determine the adaptation strategies of chili farmers' households in dealing with the impact of Covid-19 and the reasons for choosing this strategy in East Lombok Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The unit of analysis in this study is chili farmer households in East Lombok Regency. The data in this study was obtained using in-depth interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis used in this study consisted of several stages, which are data tabulation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data obtained in this study were processed using a descriptive data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the adaptation strategies carried out by chili famers’ households in dealing with the impact of Covid-19 in East Lombok Regency, are active strategies, passive strategies and network strategies. In making decisions, farmers in this study have their own reasons for choosing each strategy.
Several studies have shown that market-driven rural development projects usually fall short of accurately understanding the complexity of the difficulties smallholder farmers experience in maintaining their livelihoods. It is also recommended that policies and research on rural development consider using the framework for sustainable livelihoods to examine the consequences of market-driven rural development initiatives. In order to comprehend the complexity of rural livelihoods and make policies and development programs implementing market-led rural development more empowering, this article attempts to explore the theories now accessible on sustainable livelihoods. This article offers a theoretical foundation for sustainable means of subsistence. This combines information from several sources to create more complete notions by providing a definition, potential significant justifications, and examples. The framework’s basic elements identified from the literature review are the context of livelihood, assets, institutions (transforming structures and processes), strategies, and outcomes.
