User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) design is very important because with a good design that meets user needs, it can make users feel comfortable when using a product. One example is the Academic Information System (SIA), if the design of the SIA is not user friendly, it will have an impact on both the user and the system. Such as input errors, missing information, difficulties in using it. The purpose of conducting UI / UX analysis and design at SIA Universitas Jenderal Soedirman is to solve the problems experienced by users today. Users involved in this research are students. Design is made using the Design Thinking method and for the testing using Usability Testing.
Malaria remains one of the essential public health problems in Indonesia. The year 2015 was originally set as the elimination target in Java Island, but there are still several regencies on Java reporting malaria cases. Spatial technology helps determine local variations in malaria transmission, control risk areas and assess the outcome of interventions. Information on distribution patterns of malaria at the sub-district level, presented as spatial, temporal, and spatiotemporal data, is vital in planning control interventions. Information on malaria transmission at the sub-district level in three regencies in Java (Banyumas, Kebumen, and Purbalingga) was collected from the Agency for Regional Development (Bappeda), the Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcapil) and Statistics Indonesia (BPS). Global spatial autocorrelation and space-time clustering was investigated together with purely spatial and purely temporal analyses using geographical information systems (GIS) by ArcGis 10.2 and SaTScan 8.0 to detect areas at high risk of malaria. Our results show that malaria was spatially clustered in the study area in central Java, in particular in the Banyumas and Purbalingga regencies. The temporal analysis revealed that malaria clusters predominantly appeared in the period January-April. The results of the spatiotemporal analysis showed that there was one most likely malaria cluster and three secondary clusters in southern central Java. The most likely cluster was located in Purbalingga Regency covering one sub-district and remaining from the beginning of 2016 to the end of 2018. The approach used can assist the setting of resource priorities to control and eliminate malaria.
One of the methods used in detecting the intrusion detection system is by implementing Naïve Bayes algorithm. However, Naïve Bayes has a problem when one of the probabilities is 0, it will cause inaccurate prediction, or even no prediction was found. This paper proposed two modifications for Naïve Bayes algorithm. The first modification eliminated the variable that has 0 probability and the second modification changed the multiplication operations to addition operations. This modification is only applied when the Naïve Bayes algorithm does not find any prediction results caused by zero probabilities. The results of this research show that the value of precision, recall, and accuracy in the modification made tends to increase and better than the original Naïve Bayes algorithm. The highest precision, recall, and accuracy are obtained from modification by changing the multiplication operation to the addition. Increasing precision can reach 4%, increasing recall reaches 2% and increasing accuracy reaches 2%.
Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have an important and strategic role in national economic development. Purbalingga Regency has an area of 777.64 Km2 consisting of 18 Subdistricts with contours of the region which mostly consist of mountains, access to communication and dissemination of information regarding the existence of job vacancies, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) products are absolutely necessary so that the existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can improve the standard of living and the economy and equalize employment, especially in the Purbalingga region. The application made in this study is an android based application that can be used by entrepreneurs in the Purbalingga region to register their MSMEs and inform and process job vacancies. The application developed based on the REST (Representational State Transfer) architecture is proven to facilitate the process of data exchange between platforms and systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
