The vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLEspressure, temperature, and composition of coexisting vapor and liquid phases) was directly determined by an ebulliometric method for the system m-xylene + cyclohexanol. An azeotrope was found. The experimental results were correlated by means of an equation of state (AEOS) that is capable of reproducing VLE for associating and reacting systems, over a wide range of pressure and temperature, with an accuracy close to the experimental uncertainty.
