From art to archaeology, ceramics to costumes, in cities and in the countryside, the activities of Friends in Italy reflect the variety and diversity of the country itself. They have created publications, financed restoration and acquisition, and have helped to create a broad public awareness of Italy's rich museum world. Several examples are described by the Secretary General of the Italian Federation of Friends of Museums.
