This investigation is the result of a study carried out at the higher institute of educational sciences of huambo, which aimed to develop and validate, at the discretion of specialists, a professional postgraduate course in scientific writing and publication, which was developed with the purpose of prepare teachers with disabilities in this area, taking into account the requirements implemented by the most recent higher education teaching statute in angola. Neste artigo apresentamos o resultado de um trabalho desenvolvido com um grupo de estudantes do primeiro ano do curso de Aquicultura da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade José Eduardo dos Santos, Huambo (Angola). O objetivo do trabalho é desenvolver habilidades em ferramentas para a solução e interpretação de exercícios relacionados a modelos ecológicos unidimensionais. Especificamente, o trabalho culminou na resolução metodológica de problemas com o modelo de Beverton-Holt.
