Bayu Agung Furniture adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi mabel dan furniture, dalam oprasionalnya UD.Bayu Agung Furniture membutuhkan supplier untuk memasok bahan baku produksi. Salah satu upaya dalam mendapatkan supplier terbaik dan berkualitas adalah melakukan pemilihan supplier, karena itu pemilihan dalam pemasok bahan baku atau supplier sangat penting dalam perusahaan produksi. Akan tetapi, UD. Bayu Agung Furniture memiliki masalah dalam pengambilan keputusan supplier tersebut sepertitidak bisa menentukan supplieryang tepat menyebabkan terjadinya kekurangan bahan baku karena keterlambatan dalam pengiriman bahan baku, beberapa bahan baku tidak sesuai pesanan atau rusak, dan harga bahan baku yang mahal. Untuk menghadapi masalah yang terjadi Bayu Agung Furniture memerlukan teknik untuk menentukan supplier yang tepat, dan cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem penunjang keputusan pemilihan supplier terbaik dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan bobot dari tiap kriteria adalah 0,291 untuk Quality, 0,220 untuk Cost, 0,153 untuk Delivery, 0,230 untuk Flexibility dan 0,107 untuk Responsiviness. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan supplier terpilih adalah Sinar Mas Cermerlang untuk produk Kayu dengan nilai 0,891. sistem ini dapat membantu jalannya operasional perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan supplier terbaik secara cepat dan akurat.
The lathe process is a machining process that is most widely used and is very commonly used in an industrial field. During the turning process, the lathe will cut the workpiece with the main movement being rotating so that the workpiece can be slowly reduced in diameter. There are several parameters in the turning process such as feed rate, cutting speed and cutting depth. Parameter optimization in the cutting process is very necessary in order to reduce the cutting force during the machining process. If the cutting force is high, it can cause the tool ability to be reduced. In this study using three turning parameters, namely spindle rotation rate, feeding depth, and feed or chisel distance in 1 rotation of the workpiece. This can be seen from the simulation results, the results of simulation-2 and simulation-4 with a feed rate of 0.1 mm/rad with two other different parameters, the value of the depth of tool wear is 0.00487 and 0.00410 mm, then in simulation-1 and simulation -3 with the same feed rate value of 0.2 mm/rad and with two other different parameters, the depth of tool wear is 0.0117 and 0.00932 mm, respectively. With these results, it can be seen that the feed rate has quite an effect on the depth of tool wear during the turning process. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the variation of the parameters that are simulated in the turning process can affect the condition of the tool blade used. When running the machining process with inappropriate parameters, it will cause tool failure or tool blade damage. Therefore, the lathe parameters must be considered.
Aksara jawa merupakan sistem penulisan yang ditulis dari kiri ke kanan. Setiap aksara di dalamnya melambangkan suatu suku kata dalam vokal /a/ atau /o/, yang dapat ditentukan dari posisi aksara didalam kata tersebut. Penulisan aksara jawa dilakukan tanpa spasi, karena itu pembaca harus paham dengan teks bacaan tersebut untuk dapat membedakan tiap kata. Dalam merancang sistem pengenalan pola huruf aksara jawa tengah menggunakan metode kohonen dibutuhkan pengolahan citra yang berfungsi untuk mengubah citra menjadi array biner. Dan sistem dapat diimplementasikan pada aplikasi yang berbasis sistem mobile.
Oil palm waste is the residue from the main product of the oil palm tree that is not utilized. Oil palm can produce solid waste in the form of stems, empty fruit bunches, shells, fiber (coir), and fronds. One oil palm tree can produce 40 to 50 fronds within one year. Oil palm fronds are obtained from the rest of the crop and when caring for the tree. This research aims to make and test a prototype chopper machine to utilize and reduce the waste of palm fronds and leaves. The driving motor on this prototype uses a 2 hp electric motor with 1450 rpm rotation, pulley 1, which is on a 4-inch electric motor, and pulley 2, which is on a 6-inch blade shaft, so there are 2 v-belts used with a size B-55. Calculations made during the design process of the prototype counter machine for palm fronds and leaves are Circumferential Speed of Pully, Circumferential Force of Pully, Belt Tension, Maximum Belt Tension, Number of Belt Rotations, Number of Belts, Belt Age and calculation of speed and torque on the blade shaft. The chopped ingredients are fresh or wet palm fronds and leaves. The count produced by the prototype is 206 kg/hour with an average of 5 repetitions. For prototype yield, the average yield produced from 5 replications was 94.41%, and the resulting chopped results were 20-40 mm long.
