<em>The aims of this research is to analyze the differences in the farmers’ perception to Farmers’ Card program in Kalijambe District Sragen Regency based on the environment of farmers among the farmers who have long distance access from the District Office and Bank BRI with the farmers who have at close range access from the District Office and Bank BRI and based on the position of farmers in farmers’ group, they are management and members of farmers’ group. The basic method of this research is descriptive quantitative and survey techniques. The method of Location determination was done purposively in Kalijambe District Sragen Regency by taking two farmer groups they are farmers’ group Tani Santoso Banaran village and farmers’ group Ngudi Mulyo Wonorejo village. The population of this research was a farmer who is included/listed in the program Farmers’ Cards in Kalijambe District Sragen Regency, with the number of farmers’ responder 60 peoples. The sample is determined by using multi-stage cluster random sampling. The Analysis of data used is the different test of U Mann Whitney. The results showed that there were significant differences in the perception of the Farmers’ Card program based on the environment of farmers and farmers’ position in farmers’ group. The differences of perceptions based on their environment showed that the farmers’ perception whose close access to the District Office and Bank BRI is better than the perception of farmers whose long distance access from the District Office and Bank BRI. Based on the farmers’ position in farmers’ group, it is showed that the farmers’ perception in farmers’ management is better than the farmers’ perception in farmers’ member.</em>
<div class="WordSection1"><p><em>This research aimed to assess the participation of members of farmer groups in Puring, Kebumen regency, and to compare the participation of members of farmer groups in advanced classes and beginner classes in Puring, Kebumen regency.. Through this research, farmer groups are expected to maintain the participation of each member so that the farmer groups to be effective, optimal and can achieve a higher grade category. Research location determined by purposive in Puring, Kebumen regency. Method of sampling determined by multistage cluster random sampling. To determine whether there are differences in the participation and effectiveness of farmer Group in advanced classes and beginner classes used by Man-Whitney Test From the Mann-Whitney U test, can be seen in all statistical Test output indicator for the level of participation and effectiveness has a small z value and sig. 2-tailednya greater than 0.005. It states the test results are not statistically significant, thus the hypothesis is accepted that there is no difference in the distribution of scores on the level of participation in the advanced classes and beginner classes.</em></p></div>
<p>This study aims to analyze people's attitudes towards the urban farming program, identifying factors that shape people's attitudes towards urban farming programs, analyzing the relationship between attitude-forming factors and people's attitudes towards urban farming programs. This study uses quantitativemethods with descriptive analysis and survey techniques. The location of the study was carriedout in Jebres Subdistrict.The study sample was 70 people taken by proportional random sampling.The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary. The data analysis that used is Rank Kendall. The results showed that:(1) the factors forming the attitude are characteristics of individuals (age majority at age 15-64 years/ the productive age category, majority high school education), personal experience in the medium category, family influence in the high category, reference group in the sufficient category, exposure to mass media in the medium category, and culture in the high category.(2) People's attitude towards the program objectives in the agreed category, the implementation of the program in the neutral category and the program results in the agreed category. (3) There is a significant relationship between personal experience, reference groups, exposure to mass media and culture to urban farming programs. While individual characteristics and family influences have no significant relationship with people's attitudes toward urban farming programs.</p><p> </p>
Chili production decreases continuously in Central Java today. Similarly, chili’s selling price is fluctuating. Farmers as one of chili agribusiness development actors have a very large potency to develop, so that a study should be conducted on farmers’ behavior in developing chili agribusiness development as the foundation to conduct empowerment. This research aimed to describe a) chili farmers’ characteristics, and (b) empowerment program conducted, and (c) to analyze factors affecting farmers’ skill of developing chili agribusiness in Central Java. Techniques of collecting data used were interview and field observation. The data was analyzed descriptively and quantitatively with multiple regression. The result of research showed that the farmers are 49.7 years old on average, graduated from Senior High School, 46.6% of which have not attended yet non-formal education such as extension and training program related to chili agribusiness, and have less than 0.5 ha-wide area, 13.06 years’ experience with chili cultivation, 53.3% of which are less skillful in developing chili agribusiness. The conclusion indicated that non-formal education and year of experience with farming affected chili farmers’ behavior and skill positively and significantly, while age, formal education, and land width did not affect chili farmers’ skill significantly in chili agribusiness development.
<em>The development of information technology has opened a business network, especially the Internet. Agribusiness actors have also started using the internet to market their products using the website. www.goodplant.co.id is an e-commerce that sells hydroponics products. This study is intended to identify the characteristic of perception maker of the consumers of goodplant.co.id, correlation of consumers’ perception maker characteristics and consumers’ perception of quality of goodplant.co.id as an online marketing media. This study applied a descriptive study through the survey. The subject of this study was people who have accessed the website, or people who have done any transaction on the website. The subject was chosen using judgment sampling by Google Docs. The amount of the subject is decided to use the estimation of population proportion and confidence level, which was made with 95% of 100 respondents. This study was conducted using two kinds of data, primary data, and secondary data. The data were analyzed using Kendall correlation. The result of the study showed that: (1) the age range of the respondents is 17 – 34 years old, (2) the education of the respondents are diploma/ undergraduate degree, (3) most of the respondents are an employee or entrepreneur, and having high revenue, (4) most of the also frequently do online shopping. There was a significant correlation between education, revenue, occupation, and online shopping experience toward the consumers’ perceptions of goodplants.co.id as an online marketing media. However, there was no significant correlation between the age range of the consumers with their perceptions of goodplants.co.id as an online marketing media.</em>
