Quality control is the activity of management to measure the quality characteristics of the product, compare it with specifications or requirements, and take appropriate action if there is a difference between the actual appearance of the standard. Every company needs an operational system that can indicate and overcome defective or damaged products, the company must control quality in each of its production processes. This study aims to determine the quality control of production and actions that should be done by the company to reduce product failure. The research subject used is a case study at the company, this manufacturing company produces bottled water products. The data used in the study include primary and secondary data, and data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study is the Six Sigma method which includes five stages of DMAIC analysis namely define, measure, analyze, improve and control. This study revealed that there are five types of defects namely lid defects, cup defects, sliding machine, volume defects, and dirty water. Based on the calculation of sigma value, the average sigma value of company is 4.39 with 2,047.96 Defect per Million Opportunities (DPMO). Fishbone diagrams are carried out to analyze the causal factors of defective products, namely machinery, humans, methods, and materials.

Motorcycle communities have a variety of activities, a common one is group's touring or taking a long journey for several purposes such charity as well for community's gathering. Some condition found in this kind of situation, groups touring creates situations which make whole pack member have to be a focus on their groups riding. In the group's touring, it is widespread for them to using body gestures in order to communicate in a pack. They create some signals by using their body parts which commonly by hand or feet, to deliver their messages such: accelerate; turning; notifying obstacles; break; etc. This contradiction found precarious and dangerous, improper driving position as well with losing focus on driving will endanger the touring group and its surrounding. Considering the existed contradiction, researchers are trying to formulate the solution. GONDEZ "Going on Road Safely" The Touring Safety Riding Equipment with Integrated Control System. The innovation uses to alternate the contradictive condition; the device helps the rider in delivering the messages without creating improper dangerous driving gestures. The research methodology adopted from KAIZEN philosophy, followed by QFD as the methods in order to identify and designing the product.

Kawasan Hutan Pinus salah satunya berada di Desa Pogalan Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Magelang Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Hutan Pinus Kragilan merupakan wisata yang di kelola oleh Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu dan masyarakat Desa Pogalan. Peningkatan pinus yang dihasilkan di Kabupaten Magelang, terutama di Desa Pogalan, Kecamatan Pakis dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan jumlah bunga dan daun pinus yang berserakan di daerah tersebut. Limbah hasil tumbuhan pinus seperti bunga dan daun pinus belum di tangani secara maksimal di daerah tersebut sehingga dapat menjadi penumpukan bunga dan daun pinus yang dapat berupa pencemaran lingkungan. Limbah pinus (bunga dan daun pinus) dapat dianfaatkan menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf ekonomi di daerah tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yang berupa pelatihan pengolahan limbah pinus (bunga dan daun) menggunakan metode filosofi Kaizen, yang meliputi tahap PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action). Filosofi Kaizen adalah proses manajemen yang berupa perbaikan terus-menerus. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan metode PDCA, masyarakat dapat melakukan aktivitas program dan membuat bio pestisida asap cair yang akan digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan hama tanaman sayur di desa Pogalan.
