Air susu ibu (ASI) adalah sebuah cairan tanpa tanding ciptaan Allah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi bayidan melindunginya melawan kemungkinan serangan penyakit. Produksi ASI dipengaruhi oleh dua hormone,yaitu prolaktin dan oksitosin serta laktogagum dalam bahan makanan mampu meningkatkan produksi ASIsehingga daun bangun-bangun cocok untuk peningkatan ASI karena mengandung laktogagum.Tujuanpenelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh daun bangun-bangun terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI pada ibumenyusui di Desa Selayang Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Selesai Kecamatan Selesai Kabupaten Langkat.Metodologi penelitian yaitu menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Experiment Design dengan menggunakanpendekatan Non-Equevalent Control Group. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana pengaruh pemberian seduhanteh daun bangun-bangun terhadap produksi ASI pada ibu menyusui dengan jumlah sampel 20 orang.HasilPenelitian: Pada hasil penelitian ini didapatkan p value = 0,000 (p value < 0,05) berarti Ho ditolak, yangartinya Ada pengaruhdaunbangun-bangun terhadap produksi ASI di desa SelayangWilayahKerjaPuskesmas Selesai Kecamatan Selesai Kabupaten Langkat tahun 2018.Kesimpulan : Diharapkan agarinstitusi dapat memfasilitasi pengembangan penelitian dengan menambah sumber-sumber buku danmenjalin kerjasama dengan instansi terkait dan pada peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengembangkanpenelitian ini dengan menggunakan daun bangun-bangun sebagai obat herbal untuk menyembuhkanpenyakit lainnya.
Pregnancy causes a lot of change in the mother’s body, so there are various kinds of physiological discomfort in the mother such as nause and vomiting, usually mild and controlable. This condition sometimes stops in the first trimester, but its effect may lead to nutritional disorder, dehydration, weakness, weight loss, and electrolyte imbalances. If not treated, it will worsen into Hyperemesis Gravidarum This study aimed to determine the effectiveness og ginger candy in reducing the frecuency of nause and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women in the Khairunida clinik with experimental Quasy design and tested by One Group Pretest Postest. About 15 samples were obtained through purposive sampling technique and the data were taken using the T-dependent test. Through the study, it was found that the frequency of nausea and vomiting before being given intervation was 10,93 and after being given intervation was 3,33 with an average decrease by 7,60. Through the statistical test, it was obtained the p value <(0.05) so that this study concluded that administration of ginger candy was effective in reduring nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women. Further researchers are expected toreduce the use of non-pharmacological drugs to overcome nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women and collaborate with the pharmacy department to facilitate the process of making good qualityy ginger candy.
ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: DM merupakan masalah kesehatan yang penting bagi perempuan usia reproduksi (15-49 tahun). Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan edukasi serta memberdayakan remaja khususnya siswi di SMA untuk berprilaku sehat dengan mengatur menu sehat harian yang dapat mencegah Diabetes MelitusMetode: Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan tentang tanda dan gejala Diabetes Mellitus dengan media audio visual serta demonstrasi penyusunan menu sehat pencegah diabetes Mellitus pada siswa yang ada di SMA Swasta Dharma Pancasila Medan dan SMA Swasta Rakyat Yayasan Perguruan Rakyat Pancurbatu. Jumlah siswi yang mengikuti kegiatan penyuluh sebanyak 200 orang Hasil: Hasil pre dan post test menunjukkan adanya perubahan pengetahuan remaja dengan nilai perbedaan mean 0,43 dengan Standart Deviasi 1,06Kesimpulan: Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada sasaran, selain itu upaya pencegahan dapat dilakukan dengan memberdayakan sasaran menyusun menu sehat seimbang. Hypnobirthing dilakukan pada ibu bersalin bertujuan untuk menciptakan kondisi rileks pada ibu sehingga dapat mengurangi ketegangan, kecemasan, dan meminimalkan rasa nyeri saat persalinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hypnobirthing terhadap nyeri persalinan pada ibu inpartu kala I fase aktif di klinik Eka Sri Wahyuni dan Klinik Pratama Tanjung tahun 2017. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah non-equivalen control group design, pemilihan sampel consecutive sampling terdiri atas kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan masing-masing berjumlah 16 orang ibu inpartu pada bulan April-Juni 2017. Data yang digunakan adalah sekunder dan primer. Data dianalisis uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Ada pengaruh hypnobirthing terhadap nyeri persalinan pada ibu inpartu kala I fase aktif di Klinik Eka Sri Wahyuni dan Klinik Pratama Tanjung tahun 2017(ρ= 0,000).
Unsmooth milk production is one of the factors causing failure in exclusive breastfeeding. Performing breast care can increase milk production in post-partum mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of breast care in post-partum mothers on the frequency of breastfeeding babies on days 3 to 16 post-partum. This type of research uses the Analytical Descriptive method which serves to provide an overview of an object under study through data or samples collected without conducting analysis and making conclusions that apply to the public. The sample in this study were 12 mothers who breastfed their babies by doing breast care. Data analysis used in this research is univariate analysis. The results showed that 10 respondents had good milk production and 2 respondents had bad milk production after breast care. Poor milk production is caused by the mother's lack of knowledge and experience about breast care and how to breastfeed the baby properly. The conclusion from this study is that breast care is effective in increasing milk production because it is able to stimulate the milk glands in the breast so that milk production is more abundant and smooth by keeping the breasts clean and well cared for (nipples) because when breastfeeding the mother's breasts direct contact with the baby's mouth. It is hoped that the family will add more insight and knowledge about the benefits of breast care for milk production in post-partum mothers.
