A linear AIE supramolecular polymer was constructed by a salicylaldehyde azine-containing pillar[5]arene dimer P5D and a homoditopic guest G. The linear supramolecular polymer displayed strong fluorescence at high concentration. It displayed crosslinked structure and fluorescence quenching property after the addition of Cu II and recovered after the addition of cyanide.
Adhesion between hard materials without any glue is challenging and difficult. Supramolecular chemistry provides an innovative and feasible solution to realize it by non-covalent interactions. Here, we realized adhesion between...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
