Observing technological developments in the digital learning era with increasingly massive 21st-century skills approach in the education sector must be responded to with professional teacher competence. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the teacher's competencies in professional engagement and selecting digital sources in the teaching and learning process. The research methodology used was survey research to subject's teachers as many as 61 respondents located at Dian Harapan Karawaci School, Tangerang. Respondent data collection was carried out by filling in an online questionnaire using google form media which was analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results showed that the three aspects of a teacher's competencies profile in the digital learning era have been achieved in a good category so that they can meet the criteria for teacher's competencies profile as expected. Even though it has reached the good category, there are two sub-aspects with supporting items that need further efforts to improve teacher competence through professional development or similar teacher training, namely DCPD-3 and DCPD-4.Keywords: Teacher, competencies, professional engagement, digital resources
The COVID-19 pandemic has made the entire life order change substantially, including the education area. The atmosphere of face-to-face learning must undergo a transition in the form of online learning, by utilizing technology and various interaction media during learning, including tertiary education. Blended learning model is one model that can be used in this emergency situation. This study aims to look at students' perceptions, to what extent of the blended learning carried out by optimizing LMS Moodle and video conferencing as learning tools. Participants in this study were taken purposively and involved 78 students from three study programs, namely Biology, Mathematics, and Social Sciences Education, who were enrolled and participated in Ecology, Integral Calculus, and Geography courses. The instruments are COLLES questionnaires and open-ended questions to investigate deeper at the perceptions expressed by students. Research methods are used in the form of mixed methods to produce an in-depth interpretation of student perception. Quantitative data analysis is carried out with a one-way ANOVA conducted using SPSS 20. Qualitative analysis is carried out descriptively related to the response given by students in writing. This research found indications related to lecturers' ability to design discussion problems to stimulate student involvement during learning.
<p class="abstrak"> </p><p class="abstrak"><span>Christian education aims to bring students to have relationships and growth based on Christian Faith. For building this relationship and growing faith, teacher’s competencies are needed in implementing teaching and learning that is based on the Biblical Christian Worldview. During this digital technology era, Christian teachers are required to have competence for developing their Spiritual Formation and Biblical Community. This study aims to analyze the teacher's competencies to enhance spiritual formation and develop biblical community. The research was conducted by distributing a survey to 61 respondents at Christian private school Tangerang. Data from respondents was collected through an online questionnaire via Google form and analyzed data with descriptive qualitatively. The results on each aspect of Spiritual Formation (SF) and Biblical Community (BC) suggest that respondents have achieved an average score of 4.1 (good category) or has met the teacher competency profile criteria as expected. Nevertheless, there needs to be a relevant follow-up to improve teacher competence in the digital technology era in the aspect of Spiritual Formation and Biblical Community through professional development or similar training.</span></p><p class="abstrak"><span><br /></span></p><p class="abstrak"><strong>Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak </strong></p><p>Natur pendidikan Kristen bertujuan untuk membawa peserta didik mengalami relasi dan pertumbuhan yang berlandaskan Iman Kristiani. Dalam membangun relasi dan pertumbuhan iman tersebut, dibutuhkan peran dan kompetensi guru Kristen dalam mengimplementasikan pengajaran yang sesuai dengan <em>Biblical Christian Worldview</em> (BCW). Pada era digital saat ini, guru Kristen dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi dalam meningkatkan <em>Spiritual Formation</em> (pertumbuhan rohani peserta didik) dan <em>Biblical Community</em> (komunitas yang memiliki relasi dengan berwawasan Kristen Alkitabiah). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar kompetensi guru dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan rohani dan membangun komunitas yang berlandaskan prinsip Alkitabiah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membagikan survei kepada guru di salah satu sekolah swasta Kristen Tangerang dengan responden sebanyak 61 orang. Data dari responden dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online (google form) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada masing-masing aspek <em>Spiritual Formation</em> (SF) dan <em>Biblical Community</em> (BC), responden telah mencapai rata-rata angka 4,1 (kategori baik) atau telah memenuhi kriteria profil kompetensi guru sesuai yang diharapkan. Kendati demikian, perlu ada tindak lanjut yang relevan guna meningkatkan kompetensi guru di era digital<em> </em>dalam aspek <em>Spritual Formation</em> dan <em>Biblical Community</em> melalui pengembangan profesional ataupun pelatihan sejenis.</p><p class="abstrak"><span> </span></p>
