The study on amorphous metal-organic frameworks (aMOFs) is still in its infancy, and designing and constructing aMOFs with functional pores remains a challenge. Two aMOFs based on Co(II) and heterotopic...
A metal-organic cage (MOC)-based porous salt composed of cationic Zr-MOC and anionic Cu-MOC was incorporated into SBA-15 nanopores via a two-step impregnation method for the first time. The encapsulated MOC-based...
For developing bulk metallic glasses with high glass forming ability (GFA) and good mechanical properties, Cu 922x Zr x Al 8 (x535-65 at-%) alloys have been studied by means of tilt mould casting method. The largest glassy rod with a critical diameter of 18 mm in this alloy series was obtained for Cu 42 Zr 50 Al 8 alloy. The Hruby factor is appropriate for evaluating GFA in the cast Zr-Cu-Al bulk glassy alloy. The bulk metallic glasses with high GFA exhibit good mechanical properties, i.e. compressive fracture strength of 1783-2240 MPa, Young's modulus of 90-123 GPa and plastic strain of 0-0?73%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
