The calculating precision of a new Fourier's expansiondifferential method presented by us for analyzing the arbitrarily shaped groove guide is improved in this paper. Through calculating and analyzing the guide wavelengths of the typically several groove guides, the correctness of the new method is verified. A new type of similar V-groove guide is presented and analyzed by using the new method in detail. The obtained results are of important significance for enriching guide theory, analysis and calculation of guide performances in practical engineering applications for millimeter waves.
A new method is proposed for realizing radar illusion of an electromagnetic target by using active devices. The devices are installed around the target but may closely cover the target or not, leading to closed or open configurations. The amplitudes and phases of the active devices are determined by using T-matrix method. The numerical computation is calculated using MATLAB, and the results show that this method is convenient, flexible, and efficient, which has important significances for implementation of novel electromagnetic devices.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
