Technologies ensuring the surface properties improvement of complex-profile products by the impact of low-temperature plasma of a combined discharge are shown. The technologies of strengthening and a passivating film formation on the surface are considered by the example of metal products. The technology of surface roughness improvement is considered by the example of metal and non-metal products. It is shown that for the achievement of maximum possible improvement of surface properties in products the development of special equipment is necessary.
The paper reports the consideration of plasma technologies for surface layer strengthening in products, in particular, the strengthening by the impact of low-temperature plasma of the combined discharge allowing the formation of nano-composite structures in a surface layer. By the example of a cutter made of steel R6M5 there are defined basic technological peculiarities of low-temperature plasma strengthening the account of which is possible at the expense of the optimization of parameter values defining the impact of plasma upon a surface. A chart of optimum parameters of a low-temperature plasma strengthening process is obtained. There are presented results of the study of a tool surface layer strengthened with the use of a chart and also tool operation at manufacturing parts made of different materials allowing the establishment of wear resistance increase.
The ways to increase grinding effectiveness by means of physical –chemical process control in a “disk-billet” contact are considered. The impact of physical-chemical properties of cutting emulsion (CE) upon grinding basic indices is shown. The hierarchical threshold structure of a grinding process based on a neuronet model allowing automating the machining techniques designing is offered.
The paper reports the analysis results of problems connected with operation efficiency increase of complex mechatronic systems (CMS) under conditions of engineering production on the basis of the estimate and analysis of the state and its changes under conditions of distortions. A mathematical apparatus of the estimate is under consideration and a purposefulness for the development of special methods allowing the determination rapidly the significance of deviations in an evolution path of CMSs from the area limits of working capacity for obtaining responses to the questions connected with different aspects of their operation reliability support.
