Vulvar swelling is a common condition in the reproductive age group of women. The most common vulvar swelling is a Bartholin cyst or abscess, which is unilateral. The rarest presentation of vulvar swelling is Leiomyoma, which is like a Bartholin cyst. The common symptom of vulvar Leiomyoma is discomfort during walking, voiding, or coitus, otherwise asymptomatic. Here we present a rare case of vulvar fibroid mimicking a Bartholin cyst as the patient presented with swelling in the vulva, which was gradual in onset and associated with pain. Following which patient was investigated further and managed with surgical excision and marsupialization. Therefore, we should also rule out the rarest form of any condition. Here, we provisionally diagnosed a vulvar leiomyoma as a Bartholin cyst, which was confirmed by Histopathology of excised specimen.
The Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) embody themselves as a wireless media, with a view to promote data transfer around a communication network. The VPN endpoints in the network specify bounds on the amount of traffi c that it is likely to transfer at any time. The service provider is required to enable the VPN to guarantee the required bandwidth to cater to the incessant traffi c. The philosophy in this paper augurs to establish a routing path for VPNs, in order to optimize the use of available bandwidth. The network is arranged to be in the form of clusters, with a view to create a mechanism for effective transfer of data within the network. It echoes the use of a Cluster based Adhoc on Demand (CAODV) routing methodology to extract an improved performance for the chosen topology. The NS2 based simulation results evaluated in terms of its metrics portray the suitability of the proposed approach for practical applications.
The emerging automated world necessitates an elaborate infrastructure to comply with the growing traffic and ensure a reliable mode of communication. This paper proposes a multi path Virtual Private Network (VPN) with assuaging options through which remote sites are connected over a shared provider network. It articulates a scheme with a view to extract the best values for the performance metrics in the path that transfers the data with minimum utilization of bandwidth. The methodology encompasses measures to continue the process through the next minimum bandwidth path in the event of the occurrence of an exigency. It includes Network Simulator-2 (NS-2) results across a stream of flow to project its applicability in the context of creating a traffic free environment.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
