This paper deals with the Two Switch Buck Boost AC-DC converter in CCM mode driving a separately exited dc motor. In order to reduce the risk of damage of motor due to high starting current a three point starter is used in series with the motor. The two switch buck boost converter is controlled in such a way so that the output voltage remains constant despite of variation of the input voltage. Hence the motor is maintained at a constant speed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
