AbstractAccessibility makes it possible for every single person to have access to a service, visit a place or use a specific object. It is under this premise that accessible tourism begins. Accessible tourism is a type of inclusive tourism that eliminates physical, sensory o communicative barriers in order to allow everyone, whether handicapped or not, to use tourist attractions. With this in mind, the present research investigates and evaluates the Miniature Museum called "Guayaquil en la Historia", located in Malecón 2000. INEN standards were used to ascertain the mecum's level of accessibility for people with motor or sensory disabilities. This research shows that the museum is partially accessible for visitors with special limitations. It is, however, recommended that the museum further implements pertinent adaptations in order to make it visitor-friendly for people with special disabilities.
