Developments in the field of photogrammetric technology using UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) make it easier to represent mapping results quickly and accurately. Along with the growing need for spatial use, both horizontally and vertically, have implications for the need of accurate spatial data both in two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) space. 3D visualization and modeling is a representation of the surface of the earth with the aim of supplying the appearance of the earth along with the whole above it more realistic and able to provide a broader perspective compared to 2D visualization or conventional maps. In this study, the drone-based UAV was used, namely DJI Mavic Air to collect geometric data on the Syahdan campus. The digital data that has been recorded by the UAV is then processed into three-dimensional modeling using DroneDeploy software. DroneDeploy software is cloud-based and is generally used for aerial mapping, in this study it is used in making 3D modeling because of its efficient. The elevation data at each building point measured using a drone-based UAV are compared with the as-built drawing of the Syahdan Campus, Binus. The root mean square value of the comparison of elevation distance between 3D model and as built drawing is 0.47 meters.
Flows that occur in rivers are usually accompanied by scouring/erosion and sedimentation/deposition processes. The scouring process that occurs can be caused by river morphological conditions and the existence of river structures that obstruct the flow. Structures such as bridge piers can change flow patterns so that in general can cause local scouring. One method for reducing the scouring that occurs around a bridge pier is to consider the shape of the pier bridge design. One of the most common pier bridge designs is the oblong shape. This research aims to find out the effect of streamlining the oblong pier shape on the change in flow characteristic and scour depth reduction using FLOW-3D numerical modeling.
Pier is part of the structure under the bridge. The existence of a pier in the river flow causes changes in river flow patterns. Changes in the flow pattern will result in local scouring around the pier. This study aims to determine the effect of the shape of the pier on the potential for local scour that occurs around the pier, and the flow characteristics around the pier. This studymodelled the existing conditions of the Ciujung Bridge, where the Ciujung Bridge uses an oblong pier shape, and the shape will be replaced with a lenticular model pier. FLOW-3D (CFD) software will be used to modelled flow characteristics and the depth of scour that occurs.
The Self-Help Housing Stimulant (SHHS) is an assistance programfrom the Ministry of Public Work and Public Housing together with the World Bank to help family with low income to improve their house. Indramayu District is one of the districts in Indonesia receiving the help. A rapid assessment was conducted to 212 randomly sampled houses that have received the 2019 SHHS assistance program. Based on the result of the rapid assessment it can be concluded that structural component and sanitation component of a house are still a concern which needs to be paid attention.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
