The fact that only 28 out of several million possible SNPs predict whether a person has CFS with 76% accuracy indicates that CFS has a genetic component that may help to explain some aspects of the illness.
This scientific paper, part of a PhD Thesis currently under execution at the Division for ImageProcessing of the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (DPI -INPE), is committed with building up a methodological guideline for modelling urban land use change through GIS, remote sensing imagery and Bayesian probabilistic methods. A medium-sized town in the west of São Paulo State, Bauru, was adopted as case study. Its urban structure was converted into a 100 x 100 (m) resolution grid, and transition probabilities were calculated for each grid cell by means of the "weights of evidence" statistical method and upon basis of the information related to the technical infrastructure and socio-economic aspects of the town.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
