The innovation capabilities from Martha Nussbaum human capabilities perspective, are described from what one is capable of being and doing; a fact that acquires relevance into curricula, and especially in those that concern this reflection what is the formation of future systems engineers. The system engineer professional, being impacted from the constant computation science transformation, not only requires curricular structure that let him get ahead of the events and be clear about technological trends, but also allow him to understand his role into society and its transformation. It is proposed that, from the "innovation capabilities", an integral development can be generated, that links not only the obtention of technical abilities and its perspectives but also the enhancing of human development.
